WHO: Eve and YOU
WHERE: Various locations [Nonah housing, Apple Of My Eye Produce Store, The Nickel, otherwise around]
WHEN: Early to Mid September
WHAT: Eve's new and trying to figure out her new life
WARNINGS: Reference to BDSM.
Nonah Housing, #001 but also #002, #003, and #004
Eve has been in Heaven for a long time surrounded by people, so being a good hostess and also making other people feel welcome is top of her to-do list. The first thing she does with her new funds is to buy a whole bunch of cake and brownie batter. She can't make her special brownies, but she doesn't need to! The cake is chocolate on chocolate with Hi I'm Eve! written on it and a huge heart over the words. This is left at #001 for her fellow occupants of the townhouse.
#002, #003, and #004 occupants will find plates of double fudge brownies, enough for six people at least in each, in front of their door with a note with very pretty handwriting saying "I'm new and my name is Eve in #001, stop by and say hi! :)"
People can either catch her putting the food in front of their houses, in her own place, or come knock on the door.
Apple Of My Eye Produce Store
Eve has never had a real job before so she is greatly enthusiastic, even if it's a random produce store. She begs her new boss to let her greet people at the door which she does with a big smile and eager wave. Unfortunately if you ask her directions or where to find things she will 100% get it wrong and send you in the wrong direction. She is not a great employee. Does she get points for eagerness?
The Nickel
Eve puts on a big smile at work or with new friends, but she's in an actual depressive state besides that. Once she gets to a bar after her wanderings she settles down in a corner and just keeps ordering drinks. By the time someone approaches her there she will probably be heavily tipsy and either try to make friends or cry on your shoulder. Good luck.
Wildcard/Wherever
Eve is eager to explore wherever she's allowed so she can be found basically anywhere you want. The beach, wandering through shops, getting hopelessly and ridiculously lost wherever she goes, and probably turning down the wrong alley occasionally without knowing what she's doing. Open to anything!

BAR - CONTINUATION WITH ANATHEMA
She orders a vodka cranberry at the far end of the bar so they have a little space to themselves but not that much. It's quiet at the moment. All it takes is a little bat of Eve's eyes at the bartender for them to immediately be served and she beams at him. Eve smooths out her nice red dress and brushes her hair back, sipping her drink and then looking over at Anathema. "Oh I realized I never introduced myself."
She flips her hair back and offers her hand. "I'm Eve! Thank you for helping me."

She should probably have been more anxious about robbery than she had been -- and, yes, there was a little tremor in her chest when she walked up to those robbers, a frisson of adrenaline through her blood. For the first time in her entire life, there hadn't been a prophecy saying that Anathema would survive this, that she would come out of this experience safely because she had an urgent world-saving appointment elsewhere a couple years from now. That safety net yanked away.
But rather than being nervewracking, it's exhilarating. Anathema orders a muddled mojito, and it's refreshing and summery, and the sweet mint-sugar-lime tastes like freedom and the pride of a job well done.
"Was that your first averted robbery? It was mine, too."
no subject
Anathema already reminds her of them. Even if this is her first averted robbery too! "It was. That was so cool." She doesn't often use modern phrases, but it seems completely necessary in this case. There is no better word for it. "Not that I plan on putting on a shiny costume and using a codename, but I can see where it all is coming from now." What would drive people to want to do more of it. It felt good and empowering, but also, who knows who might have gotten hurt by the ruffians if they hadn't been there.
"Have you always had superpowers? It's still intense to me." Eve is only barely testing hers out, and Anathema's seen her first real intentional attempts at them. She definitely can see where it may come from now, so she can be careful when to use it. This was when she could feel the richness in her voice, the timber of it that was different on certain words than before. It's all a bit heady.

Since there's not a shy bone on her body, she walks right up to him, a bright smile on her face and big doe eyes full of warmth. "You're good with them. Are you a superhero back home too?" Her tattoo that establishes her as an imPort is in sight as she's almost always in sleeveless dresses and the like, a nice red sundress at the moment.

The Nickel
That's what has her at The Nickel, sitting next to a woman pounding back the drinks. The doctor in her can't help but finally glance over and say something in return.
"Feel free to tell me to sod off, but I think you might consider drinking some water."
no subject
"I really like your voice," she says with a smile toward her, quick to compliment even now. "You sound like Lucifer but that's okay. It's allllll okay." Eve lays her head down on the bar and waves fingers toward the bartender. "Waterrrrr?"

When he finds the treats (and tastes one of the brownies) and the note outside of #003, well, the only right and neighborly thing to do is head over with a treat in turn. Now, given that the mysterious new neighbor's name is Eve, he considered apple pie if only for nostalgia's sake, but decided against it in case it came across as cliche. Instead the angel has a tin of chocolate chip cookies and a smile as he marches himself up to #001 and knocks on the door, taking half a step back to wait.
no subject
She hears the knock and makes an excited squeak, hoping this means she'll have someone to talk to because listen silence is bad and being lost in one's thoughts is the worst. Eve gives herself a glimpse in the mirror, fluffs out her curly hair, and open the door. Her smile is beamed at Aziraphale. "Hello! I'm Eve!" The sheer enthusiasm in her voice really needs to be taken down a notch or two, but she'll get there.

He blinks in surprise that is only faintly suspicious. "Uh... hi? Were you looking for someone?"
no subject
"Hi!" She puts the card underneath the plate of brownies and offers her hand to him, juggling the action gracefully. "I'm Eve, I just got here. I made everyone brownies!" She almost reassures that they're normal brownies, but not everyone assumes the worst on that front, so she's all set. "What better way to meet your neighbors, right?"

Produce store
Entering the store, he looks over at the lady wearing an article of clothing identifying her as an employee.
"Pardon me, do you know where the oranges are?"
no subject
She is no where near sad now though, brightening when the man comes in. "Hello! Welcome to the Apple Of My Eye, isn't that the cutest name?" Eves and Apples, honestly. She brushes a hand through her wild mane of hair, the tattoo from the imports the only scar on her otherwise flawless skin. "Ummmm. Yes! Yes?" Eve spins around to look. "I think they're this way!" And she cheerfully takes off in the directions, hoping the man will follow her.

He's on his way out of a menswear store when he sees someone familiar in the crowd, and he stops. "Eve?"
At least he's not wearing a bathrobe this time.

Her wild mane of hair is fairly easy to pick out, and her head turns sharply in the direction of his voice. "Lucifer!" Uh oh. Is she ready for this? She doesn't know. She doesn't have a choice! Fleeing is not an option. Maze would tell her to 'badass bitch' walk over like nothing changed, and if they were merely exes maybe she could do that. But considering what she did? Eve is feeling more like slinking away out of shame.
Instead she walks up to him and swallows, smiling as much as she can. "Fancy meeting you here?"

CHLOE'S PLACE - Continuation with Chloe
Eve brings brownies, a notepad, and a bottle of wine, feeling like all three of them might be helpful depending. She's never spent an extended amount of time with Chloe, but she's eager to please always and she has a deep fondness for the police detective even with their reasons for disliking each other. How could she? Chloe is smart and brave and kind. Eve admires her. They also shared an intense moment while saving Charlie that made her think oh if everything wasn't awful, we could be friends! Maybe killing a demon together just naturally makes that.
Knowing that John Decker is Chloe's father makes it easy for her to spot it now. Eve has an excellent memory, after so many years in Heaven, and she's seen generations come through of the same families. She only hopes saying that helped a little. Losing a parent is not something she understands, having none of her own.
She knocks on Chloe's door with her hands mostly full and feels oddly nervous. Trying to make friends is hard, when you're coming from a disadvantage/tense background. But she believes in them!
no subject
That said, even after everything that happened, Chloe could see that Eve wasn't bad. She wasn't Marcus Peirce or even Charlotte Richards when Charlotte was terrifying and intolerable. She was just, Chloe figures, as confused and as lost as the rest of them.
Still, it's a surprise when she answers the door to see Eve standing there. Sure, Chloe had offered to help with her resume but she hadn't actually expected Eve to come through. Good or not, and having saved Trixie or not, Eve had always been... Flaky. Celestials, in general, seemed to be, actually.
"Oh." That's her immediate response, and it takes her a moment to realize that Eve is standing there loaded down with food and wine and God knows what else. So Chloe steps to the side and waves her through the door. "That's... a lot of stuff."

Nonah #3
He knocked as he steps to her door, and then leans down to leave the box, just in case she is busy. He's been trying to eb more social here, despite how busy he has been.
Still, despite work and working on getting backers and investments, he is still making time as he stands, waiting.
no subject
She is just putting dishes away when she hears the knock and feels a little thrill at having a guest. Any kind of guest! Eve closes the cabinets and then walks over to the door, opening it and smiling brightly at the handsome man on the other side. "Hello. I'm Eve!" She wouldn't immediately assume he's a neighbor so an introduction is still the right way to go, brushing her thick dark hair back over her shoulders.

And the brownies had been pretty good.
"Ah, you're the mysterious brownie girl," Crowley says, because humans by and large do not have names, they just have nicknames.

Anyway.
She glances over at the red-haired man and there's that smile, full of delight. "That's me." Eve even gives him a little curtsey with her red dress, for no reason other than she feels like it. "I'm Eve. It's so good to meet you, Mr. ....?"

And maybe a little bit of suspicion.
Not taking a slice, he pads through the kitchen and out to the hall, searching for the mysterious Eve-the-baker. New housemate? Polite housethief? Sentient brownie named Eve?
"Hello?"
no subject
She pops out of her space and her smile is instant and bright. She's a petite woman with a thick head of dark curls and doe eyes full of warmth and devoid of guile. "Hi! I'm Eve." It is usually her who greets new people to her home, up in Heaven, but this time she's the newcomer and that makes her nervous. But she loves people, and she admires the man. "Wow, that costume is beautiful. Did you make it yourself?"

He really needs to find a new job one of these days.
He looks up as he makes his way towards the room, and raises his eyebrows.
"Oooh, are those brownies?"
no subject
She, on the other hand, is wearing a vivid red dress and matching high heels. Even with a limited amount of money, she will find a way to make her chosen style work. At least it's her money now and not Lucifer's.
"They are!" She offers the plate to him. "I'm new and I thought, what better want to make friends, right?"
