WHAT: Tony Stark has bequeathed some dangerous tech to OTO and the associated hero groups are looking to take it back!
WARNINGS: Violence, Copious amounts of robot thrashing, Faux Iron Men suits running amok

After two long weeks of careful planning and logistics, the mission to recover the Stark Tech from the OTO has been cleared. A large briefing was held in which everyone has been given their orders: Secure whatever Stark Tech you can find, disable transfers of any pertinent data regarding the tech to other OTO bases and compounds, and see to it that everyone makes it back alive and in good health.

The base in question is located two miles west of Nonah and a synchronized attack order will be given when scouts and preliminary teams have disabled security patrols.

When word is received that security is effectively disabled, the signal to move in and strike is given!

[And as she points that out, she leans in and plants one on his cheek.]

You know, months ago I'd have lived for that moment but now...?

I dunno. I feel like this is just par for the course for me.

We'll just see about that!

[She grabs him, one hand on each side of his face, and pulls him in for a much longer, deeper kiss!]

[Okay, that wasn't what he meant but...he'll just...ride this out.]

[It does take a minute. Hope you didn't need to come up for air, Darin.]

[Eventually, she breaks the kiss with a soft pant.]

Well? How was that? If that didn't make you swoon, then you'll just have to wait for your hero's reward at home...

N-No, that was...I mean, I wish that happened more really but...

I meant that...I'm more eager to be your partner than I was to be your champion...

Really? You're not interested in even a little bit of hero worship?

... well... we did make an incredible team out there, together.

I mean it, though. In retrospect, I might not have made it out of there in one piece without you watching out for me.

And I don't know if I would have been able to hold onto my shield if you weren't there beside me.

Really? Are you sure?

Because even despite that one moment where you seemed in terrible danger... I still had complete confidence that you could make it through. It hardly seemed like you needed me at all.

At the very least, I can head back to the rendezvous point and oversee things from there...

[Her tone is light, even though the prospect of a second mech is terrifying.]
