Rikki wrinkles her nose with distaste. "That's crap, I'm sorry," she replies. She'd be frustrated beyond belief if she were in the situation wherein she didn't know how to use her powers, like that. She can only feel sympathy for it. Rikki had to learn how to do the other mermaid powers, but she'd at least known how they worked after seeing her friends using them. She can hardly imagine coming in blind.

"Is it forcing them?" she asks, genuinely not entirely understanding how the ability works as she plucks up another friend pickle and pops it into her mouth. "Or is it just summoning? If it's just summoning, then they'd only be coming if they actually wanted to help, yeah?"

Bear with her, she really does want to learn more, because it sounds interesting, but she's not great at people, so a conversation can be a bit of a challenge when she's trying to be anything other than sarcastic and dry.
