You're wearing plate armor, of course it passed out of fashion. I know maybe one or two people who can wear it [because their strength scores meet the requirement] and neither of them even really need it.

Really, I'd recommend leather armor. Less protection than plate armor, maybe, but you can run in it and it doesn't tell everyone in fifteen miles you're on the way.
