It's definitely a thing worth considering, somewhere inside of it. What all it is these people, this 'Porter' whoever or whatever it is, might have done to them before bringing them to. The explanations they'd been given, and things like this that somehow existed along side them, but that no one she'd met, or written things to and for, had known about in the slights. People who'd been there months, and years, long.


Allison presses her mouth together in an effort not to laugh as she watched Luther stare at the space before them with all the focus of someone willing something into being, like they could see it, hammer it out, and then look to her, with all the questioning uncertainty and necessity of response of her daughter trying something new.

It's far more endearing than she should allow herself to feel with him, but it's so much harder to ignore.

There's a nod, even as she tried to keep it at that smile.
