[ There is a ~certain date~ coming up in November that is particularly important to Viktor, and he wants to make it as special as possible. He takes on the cities, even going so far as outside Heropa to find that special something for someone soon, going into all sorts of shops to find that one thing that's perfect. Anything is fair game, food, alcohol, jewelry, novelty gifts, massage oil, that desk toy where the metal balls whack together and keep going for hours (seriously Viktor, Yuuri doesn't even have a desk, what are you thinking) ...

Viktor picks up a/an [insert object here] to consider for a moment before noticing YOU standing there, then he gets a big, friendly grin on his face before shoving the object in your face. ]

[ As someone who enjoyed the occasional shopping trip, Laurel was also happy to offer advice on gifts, birthday or otherwise. It helped that she was in a good mood as well, looking forward to the upcoming holiday season.

She's browsing through some books on various topics when suddenly a cat ornament appears in front of her face...the heck?

Laurel stops what she is doing, turning to look at the person nearby. ]

Uh, I guess? I don't really know what the giftee is into but an ornament can be a cute gift.

It is cute, right? You don't even have to have a tree to hang it on, it can hang off a lamp or something so you can keep it up all year! I think the—what did you call it, giftee? I like that word—he's more into dogs though, hmm ...

[ And with no further ado, Viktor plops the cat ornament into Laurel's hand, turning back to the bin filled with the various ornaments. ]

Do you see a dog one in here? A poodle would be the best, but I'm not too picky.

I like dogs more too. [ She looks at the cat ornament for a moment then back at Viktor. ] Why don't I help you in your search?
