WHO: Green, Connor, Markus, K-2SO, Skeets, Riptide, Korg, Danger, and Dolores
WHERE: De Chima #004
WHEN: Saturday 9/15
WHAT: Inorganic club movie night!
WARNINGS: N/A, will edit as needed

Green doesn't have much experience with parties. He's only ever been to one or two, and this is his first ever time throwing one. It's a bit of an unconventional party at that, so maybe it's best not to even call it a party. Maybe it's best just to label it as nine mechanical (or eight mechanical and one rock) friends getting together to watch a movie about another mechanical being.
Green gathers lawn chairs and kitchen chairs out in the back yard, and sets up his projector right around sundown. There are no snacks, no drinks. No music playing. He tapes a paper sign to the front door with an arrow directing guests to come round to the back of the house, where he greets them with a smile and a wave.
"Hello! I'll begin the film once it's dark enough. 'Til then, just mingle, I suppose."

Skeets | ota
He sets it down somewhere easily accessible and then hovers around to mingle. In a weird way he's nervous -- most of the time when he's met other robots (and the like) it's been a one-on-one basis. He's not sure what to expect - he's mostly programmed to interact with humans. On the other hand, it's kind of exciting. He wonders how different they all are from each other, the sheer variety of ways to make artificial (or simply non-organic) lifeforms. ]

sorry for the late !!
[ But he sounds surprised -- he didn't think anyone would need them. ]
Do you need further assistance?

riptide / ota
"Hey, guys!" he says happily, to anyone listening. Fortunately, despite his size his voice isn't exceptionally loud. He lifts a hand in a wave to no-one in particular.

Either way, this'll be a good opportunity to check. Just to make sure he doesn't owe someone an apology, but if he does...then he needs to know.]
Excuse me. Riptide, right? Could I ask you something?

he's thinking so hard about all this that it takes him a moment to realise markus is talking to him, looking down at the smaller non-organic with some shuttering of his optics. not unlike blinking rapidly to get your brain to catch up.]
Ah-- hey. What's up? [he's not seen markus before.]

KORG | OTA
Eschewing a lawn chair (luckily for the chair, which likely would have been crushed given he weighs more than 2000lbs) Korg opts to sit on the grass. No snacks? No problem, he brought his own, ie a small bag of coal, which he'll share with anyone sitting next to him. "Hey bro, want a nugget?"

"Yeah man, that's me!" He beams a smile at Green, although it might be a bit hard to tell because rock faces aren't all that flexible.
"Thanks for inviting me! Or letting Riptide invite me, whichever way that happened."

"You are not a machine."
It's not fully a question, but her voice has a subtle lilt of curiosity as she leans closer toward Korg to scrutinize him.

Danger is however, certainly noticeable. Not as noticeable as Riptide, but right up there. Part of it might be attitude, as she seems to be sort of a forward person, given her direct remark.
"Yeah no, that's an accurate observance," Korg replies cheerfully, going on to elaborate- "I'm made of rocks. Just in case that wasn't already apparent."

Stares to be impolite] -I'm sorry, I'm staring. [Looks away] I've never seen someone like you outside of imagination. I don't mean to be rude.

No worries bro, it's all good. [Thankfully, Korg isn't easily offended, considering how strong he is.]

Dolores Abernathy || OTA
Before the party, she can be found wandering, a little confused with what she sees. Her face is pinched in consternation and question, as she observes some of the attendees for this party. A part of her questions, why this is the way it is - but if approached, she only smiles, kindly. ]
Hello. How are you enjoying the party? Would you like a cookie?
no subject
Markus takes the cookie though he can't eat it, pulling back his skin so when their fingers brush he can get a look at her coding again. Checking up on her.]
That's kind of you, thank you.
no subject
[ She said, with a sunny smile. True enough, when Markus felt along her code, like digital fingers, caressing against her mind, it finds more loops. There's a half-connection, like it's frazzled, and like it can hardly find where to connect. There's not..recognition. Not exactly.
Her eyebrows draw together, and she tipped her head. ]

Markus | OTA
You are who you choose to be.
It's not embarrassing but it's still habit for him to fold his hands over his face, to hide the fact that he's definitely crying...but it's probably obvious because he's huddled there on the grass not watching the last five minutes of the movie in favor of sniffling.]

Markus?
