NONAH #1 : Residents and unexpected guests. AS RYO ASUKA
[ Nonah #1 is a great place to live: there are 6 goats and 2 rabbits around the apartment and they all belong to one person: that blond guy with resting bitch face who doesn't give a fuck about anyone and seems to hate everything but his pets. Thanks to Darin, the goats actually have armors - not all the time, but Ryo takes some time to at least put cute helmets on their heads. The rabbits still don't have any armor, but it's a matter of time.

This seems adorable, but consider that the goats have started eating clothes around the house (specifically Darin's), so naturally Ryo's roommates might not find it that amusing. Does he care, though? Certainly not.

Ryo can be found in the kitchen, with Rabert (that's one of the rabbits, yet) on his lap chewing on a carrot, while he flips through the communicator. Near him, there is a cute long ears goat licking away all the left overs the bun leaves behind. Whoever comes into the kitchen will be ignored, though, and Ryo won't even acknowledge them at first because he is a bit of an asshole (actually, he is a really huge asshole). ]

PARK. AS RYO ASUKA
[ Walks on the Park are always an adventure because Ryo brings along all of his pets - this includes rabbits and goats. He has teleportation, so he doesn't fear losing them, plus the rabbits have a harness around their chests believe it or not, and the goats pretty much don't leave Ryo's side. With these many animals, naturally he gets some glances, but you can guess how many fucks he gives: that's right, none.

The blond boy finds a spot under a tree and on the grass so the goats and rabbits can eat in peace while he watches them in silence, as if he is seeing the most fascinating thing in the world. To him, it truly is; he may not like humans, he may be an asshole to them, but every other living creature is amazing and Satan loves them. Of course he still has a preference for demons, but still.

anyone who approaches will get goats trying to nibble their pants and Ryo won't really care to tell them to back off. ]

CHURCH. AS SATAN
[ Being in his angel form will ALWAYS get looks. Of course it will. Satan is a naked 12 winged hermaphrodite, which means he is very easy to spot. He usually doesn't walk around town because why would you when you have wings and you can fly, and he honestly doesn't want to talk to humans. However, he does find it a sick pleasure of his to sit on top of religious buildings (Churches) and watch how humans praise a God they know nothing of and would do everything for this figure they have never even seen. Maybe he is a bit of a masochist too, for taking his time to go to a place where his Father is praised and loved, a place where he will always remember how history is written by the winners and that means they can write it however they want it, even if it's not true.

Since Akira left, he has felt specially masochistic, so perhaps this isn't a strange thing to do. There is a lot of guilt inside of him still, and after everything blaming god seems like the best way to go about it. It helps that he is pretty dramatic and over the top, as well, and thus when there aren't many people around, Satan comes to the ground and lands right in front of the building.

He looks at it, defiance in his eyes, and then frowns. ] You aren't even here. Not you, not Michael. [ who is he talking to? Well, God, of course. ] You can't reach everywhere, you are not as omnipresent and you think you are! And I will get him back, and I will get everything back! For him - for them- for me! I am the Lord of Demons and I will have my kingdom back!

[ that sure is a dramatic speech ]

MAURTIA FALLS STREET. AS SATAN
[ After flying around the city for a while, Satan spots what it looks like a hurt animal - a rat, of all things, and whatever happened to it has left it in pretty bad shape. The animal is still fighting to live and because Satan is actually sensible about this (ironic, I know) he lands on the ground and reaches for the animal. With his powers, he heals the rat completely as if nothing had happened, and the animal thanks him by suddenly dashing off into the closet hole it could find. The archangel doesn't mind it, smiling just a little.

It's when he stands up that he sees five pretty big men, not only staring at him but closing in. Satan doesn't move, glancing back to see himself surrounded, and after he smiles ] If you are trying to be menacing, you are doing a terrible job.

AH! She is funny! [ the tallest one scoffs, bringing out a bat he was holding behind his back. Soon all the others do the same. ] Babycakes, this ain't a good place to wander around on your own and all naked. [ The smile Satan is still there, soft and sweet ] You are hot as fuck. Except for that thing down th-

[ there was no time for the man to finish talking. The very second Satan's fist hits him right in the mouth, breaking some of his teeth due to the impact, and sending him a couple of meters away. The temperature around them starts rising, and whoever passes by can feel it getting hotter and hotter. ]

[Eventually, there's a knock on the door. If Ryo happens to open, he'll find one (1) Yu Narukami standing there before he points up to a rooftop they can't quite see from this angle.]

Hello. Uh...there's a goat on your roof. I just wanted to make sure that's normal.

[ Ryo does come to the door, tilting his head when he recognizes Yu.

The guy who say him crying. At least Ryo isn't crying now - and he doesn't plan on it - and instead he gives him the usual resting bitch face ]

... he likes to climb up there sometimes. [ he is also one brave goat ]

[And Yu looks relieved.]

That's good! As long as it's not a random goat causing you trouble or a goat that shouldn't be there then it's fine with me.

[He extends his hand.]

I'm Yu Narukami. Do you have other pets?

[ he just hums as Yu talks about the goat, but when he extends his hands, Ryo's eyes fall on it. He doesn't move yet. ]

I've five more. [ and rabbits, he also has rabbits. And Darin said something about mice being around, but honestly Ryo doesn't care about Darin's imaginary friends. ]

I'm Ryo Asuka. Are you a neighbor? [ he still will not shake his hand because Ryo is an asshole ]

[It seems one of his goats has the preference to approach someone, rather than be approached itself. The goat has stalked up behind what looks to be a young man crouched infront of a long bush. it extends out from beside Ryo's tree in the park. Half of this young man is lodged up into said bush, a slight rustling of leaves being able to be heard. It appears he's looking for something... or is stuck.]

[Either way, the goat doesn't seemed to be bothered by him and his perdicament, enough so to get up close enough for a mouthful of black sweater. As soon as he feels a jerk on his shirt though, Shuichi shrieks and the rest of him seems to lodge further into that shrubbery. There's an audible tear as his sweatshirt rips and the goat trots back a few steps, though... not before undergoing some strange changes.

The goat isn't bothered by any means, it won't even really notice it as its horns lengthen, curling longer in more prominent spirals on its head. Of course, his caretaker may notice though, as well as notice the fellow staring out from between curling leaves at the goat, his eyes wide eyed. This is all the more terrifying to him considering his glasses are still very much lost in this bush...]

[ Honestly, Ryo doesn't care all that much about some guy screaming , but when he notices one of his goats is missing, he is quick to get up and go look for it. Only to find it... modified? What's up with those horns and what's up with this guy and why is his goat being brought into the middle of this?

Protectively, Satan reaches for his goat and pulls it away from Shuichi and he absolute doesn't care if the other lost his glasses or not because that is absolutely something that doesn't matter ]

What did you do to my goat? [ that's literally the only thing that matters ]

[Some guy screaming is most likely very commonplace for him, as it is for Shuichi. You'd think he'd have stronger nerves by now too but despite being used to things he still just cares about not dying, so... being spooked happens. Even if it's just a goat.]

[Upon closer inspection it does seem the change in horns is real. They are longer, twisting outward in a more mountain goat like crown. They even seem to be slowly still growing, though they slow down as Ryo pulls him further from the bush.]

[From inside of it though, Shuichi glances up at the figure, hearing the voice but not seeing him all too well.]

It's infected.

[ infected?

That sure makes sense, sure - he honestly doesn't give one single damn to try and make any out of it. He has had enough with people only mouthing a word as if that explains everything, and he will just roll his eyes and make and annoyed sound, and after he steps away from the man and leave him to crawl if he wants to keep crawling.

Ryo reaches for his goat, patting it on its head, and uses his healing powers to heal it, if there is anything truly infecting it. ]

[Considering it's no real sickness or ailment and with how this 'curse' worked now, it was more just magic rather than a plague. So the healing powers Ryo uses do nothing against it. The goat just has longer horns now, spiraling out as long as they stay close to this bush.]

[Shuichi watches him, his eyes squinting as he tries to figure out what the other man is doing but- he has no clue. With a sighed breath he pushes to get himself out of the brush, stumbling forward onto his hands and knees and hoping his glasses aren't further broken now from all this.]

I'm sorry.

It happens where ever I go now. Your goat will be okay. [He thinks... It hasn't turned into anything fatal yet.]

[ guess whose words didn't make it any better? Shuichi's. Ryo absolutely doesn't believe what he just said, and he absolutely isn't going to let it go. He frowns when he realizes his goat isn't coming back to normal, and even though it doesn't seem to be bothered, Ryo is.

He quickly turns back to Shuichi ]

Turn it back to normal. Now. [ he will go satan on your ass ]

[He frowns at that, his brows furrowing. The dark look on the guys face isn't very reassuring but-

what does he care?

He's dead. Or a slave or something. What could this person even do to him here?]

I can't, I don't know how.

These are your powers - and you don't know how they work? [ he absolutely doesn't believe him, that much is clear ]

What is this even?

No, do people usually know how they work when they arrive?

[He's been sort of assuming EVERYONE got new powers. The topic of them being something from before they arrived hadn't come up yet.]

It's- the curse. The curse of the spiral.

[He says, knowing he sounded vague but-]

But since coming here, it's been different. Your goat is fine... that doesn't look fatal. [He finished, looking away from him now to get on his knees. He still needed to find his glasses.]

There is a file, if they bother reading. [ satan's hand is still on top of his goat because HE IS STILL GOING TO TRY AND HEAL IT, YOU CAN'T STOP HIM ]

Curse of spiral? [ he rolls his eyes and that is obvious ] Why not make sense instead of saying random word? [ and that "it doesn't look" does not make it better. Plus the guy did just admit not knowing his powers ]

That doesn't mean anything.

[He replies, seeing the obvious hostility in this person. He's not about to explain the difference between reading a book and actually experiencing something.]

It's not a random word, it's what it is. It's a curse and I can't say that it's ever 'made sense.' Not even to me, and I noticed it first... lucky.

[He joked bitterly, no longer bothering to look at this guy. He instead kept his eyes down, finally touching the smooth glass and metal of his glasses on the ground nearby. Sitting back on his legs, he picked them up and put them on before slowly glancing to the other man from behind the far side of his lenses before looking away again.]

What the file said was that my emotions affected my control of it. And there is a radius. So just go away then with your goat and he'll be fine. I wouldn't try to hurt him anyway. [He finally said, turning to look at the goat instead of Ryo.]

[ the goat is absolutely unimpressed by all of this, and all it does it to go down and grab some more grass and chew it as slowly as it's goat-ly possible. Satan, however, isn't have any of it because he is absolutely annoyed even if his goat isn't ]

So you are a walking curse who affects others based on how close they are to you. And you decide to come to a park where everyone comes for a walk. [ JUDGEMENT. ON HIS FACE. ]

[He glances to the goat for a moment, thinks on how lucky it is, and then looks slowly back up to the blonde. The look on his face makes Shuichi feel sort of tired but other than that it doesn't really bother him. Finally he stands, idly patting himself off to get rid of a few leaves and lingering dirt and dust.]

Yes.

It sounds stupid when you say it like that, but I hadn't been outside for a long time. [He says this and feels like he should regret it. Ryo was right, why did he leave.]

I just needed to see-

anyone.

[Shuichi replies sort of forlornly as he glances off to the side, though the slump in his shoulders deepens slightly. Yeah, he should probably just go home then. "Home."]

[Ryo likely hasn't seen Darin for the last few days on account of the fact he's spent them at his forge. He's only recently woken up after a shower and a long sleep, and is wandering into the kitchen to raid the fridge. Since the goats like to eat all of his things, he's wandering around in just his boxers (they have anvils on them) and he looks like he generally doesn't give a damn.]

[So this giant lunk is buried waist deep in the fridge, rummaging around for whatever he can cram into his face.]

...Whose milk is this? It's not labeled!

[He asks as he starts to drink from it, not waiting for a response.]

[Jokes on him, that milk expired a week ago. He proceeds to spit it out into the sink.]

AUGH!! WHAT THE HELL?!

[ Guess who ignores Darin all the way? Ryo does. He continues to play with his communicator, glancing at Darin for a second, before his eyes settle back on the screen.

He does smirk when he hears Darin gagging, a small sick pleasure he got from that fulfilling him enough that he speaks out loud next ] You better clean the sink.

Forget the sink! Who the hell is letting food go to waste?! Who lets milk sit for that long?!

[Spoilers: It was Darin's milk. He bought it.]

We need to figure out some sort of. I don't know. A system.

...Do you have rabbits now?

I don't drink milk. [ STARING AT DARIN. Which means he totally knows that milk belongs to Darin. Or gemini's, but Satan would rather believe it IS Darin's. Just because ]

I do. Two. [ he pets Rabert's head ] Rabert and Buntimus. Or Romeo and Tybalt. They answer to both names.

Why not? Milk is great. Unless it's expired. But then it turns into cheese and cheese is pretty good too. What's your problem with milk?

[Darin, what? Shut up.]

...Where do you keep finding these animals? And you do realize we're going to start running out of room at this rate, right?

In this whole conversation, you are my problem. [ seriously, when did he ever say he had a problem, and why does Darin always makes a Big Deal out of things ]

There is plenty of room, there are even free rooms. [ guess who doesn't care if there are new people coming in? This guy. ]

At least you had the sense to grab something small this time, like those pastel colored mice I keep seeing around my room.

[ he stares at him for a moment, before he shrugs and gives his rabbit some more carrot ]

I don't have any mice. Those aren't mine.

...What, seriously? But they seem trained and everything. I figured they were yours. I was going to ask what their names were and hope against hope they weren't named something like Mammon, Azazel, Belphegor, or anything else like that.

[They haven't been in full-on mouse ninja mode, especially not around Darin who has already spotted them. But they are very deliberately walking around out of Ryo's line of sight.]

[As the resident of Nonah 001 who (until now) most likes cute and furry things, Gemini has been in heaven at the steady invasion of all the bunnies and goats over the past few months. It always brings a smile to her face, and today she's decided to try and add herself to their numbers, playing a little trick on one of her housemates in the process.

That Count Dookula might be really old and a dirty liar but it turned out he wasn't wrong about her powers. It's taken her a lot of concentration and trial and error, but finally Gemini's been able to bend and compress her malleable body into (what she thinks) is a pretty good likeness of a rabbit, although having all that fur is a little icky, and is now ready to strut her bunny stuff.

Bounding across the kitchen floor toward Ryo, Gemini's every inch the excited little black rabbit...except for the large patch of human skin on her back which she couldn't see in the mirror.]

[ when Ryo hears the sound of hopping bun legs, he turns around to look over at the newcomer. He tilts his head curiously, and actually gets up while Rabert struggles to remain on his lap ]

...... you are new. [ sure he adopted a lot of animals thus far, but at least he remembers how many he adopted so far - and he sure didn't adopt this black one. Maybe Darin? Though he doubts that idiot could take care of an animal.

Ryo walks closer to it, until he notices the... skin...? ]

[Gemini twitches her bunny nose cutely just like the other rabbits mimicking their movements to the best of her ability, shuffling over to sniff curiously at Ryo's shoe.

She's not really expecting that reaction though, and after a moment trying to think what he means and without a mirror to work out if there's anything wrong with her form she finally bursts out with...]

What's strange?

[Her human voice emerges from the rabbit's mouth with that burning question, only to realise that in asking she totally just gave herself away.]

Aww poop.

Ehe. [ Ryo is usually not amused by humans, so he doesn't give her much of a reaction other than that small condescending note. He leans back on his chair shrugging after ]
