And now we meet in an abandoned studio
WHO: Lucretia & Boyle
WHERE: some television studio
WHEN: late april
WHAT: Their television shows share a network, they're filming an advert
WARNINGS: nah brah
Lucretia had mixed feelings about her assigned job, judge on the show Red, White and Belt It, but it paid the bills and it was kind of nice seeing people trying their best. Still, it came with quite a bit of media attention and extracurricular duties, such as shooting a commercial for the network with other reality tv stars. The idea was to pose the stars with stars from other shows wearing matching outfits. They put her in a pale blue pantsuit, which was a look and a half.
All Lucretia knew about he person she was supposed to be posing with was that he's another imPort, since they wanted to get that sweet, sweet imPort fame. Just before they start filming she figured she should introduce herself, maybe make things a bit less awkward. So she sought out the person wearing the same outfit.
"Excuse me, are you Charles Boyle?"

"Excuse me, are you Charles Boyle?"

"Hi, yes-- Oh!" He notices the equally blue suit she's in and makes the obvious connection, damn he should become a detective or something. "You must be Lucretia! I've seen you on your show! Me and my sister watch it when we can, big fans."

She's not entirely sure what to do, still, with people who express that they're fans of hers. She hides her awkwardness with a polite smile and regal nod. "Oh, that's very flattering, thank you, Charles. Now I feel you have me at a disadvantage as I haven't had the chance, to uh, catch your show. Regrettably."

"Oh, sure, don't sweat it. Cooking shows aren't for everyone, right? It's not like food isn't the very thing keeping us all alive." Beat, wait that was verging on bitchy. Redo. "Haha. But seriously, I'm sure you super busy. It's all good." Nice save, Charles.

She pulls a small journal and pen from one of her pockets. "When is your show on...?"
no subject
"Tuesday evenings! Usually six, but... y'know what they can be like about shifting airing times around. Are you much of cook?"
no subject
"I know the basics, but I wouldn't consider myself a chef. If you want a good gorp, call me. If you want a good anything else, call... uh, not me."
no subject
"Well, hey! Watch my show sometime and maybe you'll pick up on some things. Teaching the world to cook, one person at a time, that's all a guy can really hope for."
