WHO: Loki and Goro
WHERE: Dream Walking
WHEN: During the time loop.
WHAT: Time loop shenanigans are screwing a bit with Goro's powers, and he ends up in a mind that's a little close to home.
WARNINGS: TBD
With the way that time had been looping over and over, it was a wonder something hadn't happened sooner. But on this time loop, instead of awakening as he always did, Goro Akechi will find himself in gilded halls, opulent to the point of being overbearing. It seemed like a throne room, with a vibrant green carpet leading the long way to an ornate dias, but looking closely, it was much less than that. What seemed like pillars at first glance were wrought iron bars, panted over with gold that looked like it had started to flake off. Beyond those bars was what looked like a broken world, shattered to the point where not even the atmosphere remained, leaving just this little chunk of throne room drifting alone through space.
Goro wouldn't be able to dwell on the dreamscape for long, as everything around him seemed to immediately go on high alert.
"Who goes there?!" A voice boomed in the small space, making the ceiling shudder in protest, dust falling from above. "What Midgardian would dare to tread in this sacred place?!"
Whoever owned this dream space, they were really hamming it up right now.

Both on high alert -- Goro steadies himself with a deep breath, reminding himself that this is just a dream.
"I am not sure I would call a jail sacred." He ends up muttering out loud, while Loki ends up grinning beside him.
"Be careful."
Oh great. That doesn't bode well.

"Not only do you invade my palace, but you insult it so? And flaunt summon magic before me as if t'were natural?"
Something on the throne shimmers then, and a man appears there, almost like he had always been there, just not allowing himself to be seen. He was resplendent in green and gold, in a similar state as the furnishings around him, with what might have been the spear Gungnir resting on his lap, if it wasn't bent to the point of being unusable. What was more, he was lounging over the throne, easily able to squeeze himself on it sideways, as it was definitely made for an individual of a much larger stature than he was.
"What do you want, o disrespectful Midgardian child?" he demanded, almost sounding bored despite how much over dramatic hamming was coming out of his mouth.

He shifts, watching the world around him change once the owner of the dream arrived. The spear seemed familiar (perhaps because he's seen it before) but at the moment he couldn't quite place it. He crosses his arms, almost amused at how bored he seemed.
"I'm afraid I don't know. I did not expect to 'wake up' here." He motions around him. "Perhaps you could explain why you feel you must live in a cage?"
"At least he's not tied up."
Loki please.

He stood up then, and while it was clear he towered over Goro even without standing on the dias the throne sat on, he... wasn't all that impressive compared to said throne. In fact, "gracefully fell off" of it was probably a more accurate description of what he had to do in order to be standing on his feet.
"Do you not know who you stand before?"

He kept his voice light, trying his best not to let his irritation show. Whoever this was, it was obvious that he trying for grandeur beyond his own emotions. Trapped by his own emotions, perhaps -- but he was no psychologist.
"I know not, unfortunately."
His persona shifted beside him, unease settling over him. Being antagonistic may not have been the avenue in this dream walking adventure.

"Hear my name and know it well, Midgardian," he said, voice booming through the room. "I am Loki of Asgard."
