[OPEN] You'll know, you'll know, the Dragonborn comes
WHO: Finn Onaru and OPEN
WHERE: Various locations
WHEN: Month of March
WHAT: March catch-all
WARNINGS: None
Heropa
Finn can be found wandering about, getting a bite to eat or visiting any of the smaller stores. He plans to stop at the tea store and restock, and a local store that sells pet things. He wants to buy Nirnroot a toy, or a bed.
At one point, Finn stops at the art store, looking at the various items, including sketchpads, paints, and pencils. He examines a set of pencils, which claim they're high grade and the same kind used by professional artists. Well, why not?
Then he goes to buy some colored pencils, grabbing a few and pausing when he gets to 'flesh color' to give it an incredulous look. "Nord flesh, maybe."
De Chima
Nothing like a day trip to De Chima. Finn can be found at any of the various stores or restaurants, buying some t-shirts, another earring just so he can have some variety, and looking at hunting knives. He's looking at knives for totally innocent reasons, he promises. Clearly it has nothing to do with having Lucien back in his life and restarting the Dark Brotherhood.
Finn might be found in a music shop, looking at string instruments. He asks for a lute, but the shop owner says that a guitar or mandolin might suit him just as well. She's even nice enough to let him test a few cords while she goes in back.
The elf plucks a few strings, then plays a few lines of 'The Dragonborn Comes'.
Parks and Hiking trails | various cities
Taking walks though the park is always nice. It gives Finn time to relax and just have some time to his thoughts. If he's in the park, he's most likely munching on a pretzel, feeding the ducks some frozen vegetables, or sitting under a tree with his sketchbook, drawing random things.
It's also entirely possible to run into him on a hiking trail. Though if he's near a certain Speaker's territory, he might turn invisible and go off the trail.

hiking trails!
At least... until you run into a giant blue figure that's sitting cross-legged. It's clearly alive, because at least once he sighs morosely, giving off irritated teen vibes.
Investigate? Surely the two storey tall robot is harmless. Or drops good loot, at least.

Finn takes walks through the woods, off trail, all the time, and usually he runs into weird things. At least, that's how it was back home. Except usually he ran into things like trolls, giant spiders, and the occasional dragon.
Giant machines are another story.
It's like a dwemer automaton, except bigger, made of different materials, and giving off a vibe. Jonathan had told him that there were giant robots here, but he didn't really know what to expect. This thing is clearly not from his world.
Being the curious sort, Finn carefully approaches the robot. Maybe he can get a good drawing of it.

After a couple minutes, he idly reaches up and breaks a branch off a tree, like you'd break a twig.
If Finn goes around in front of Riptide, he'll see he's carefully stacking them up. Into... something. Who knows.
no subject
Definitely not of his world. It's like no machine he's ever seen. It's more sophisticated.
Then it moves, and while dwemer machines are efficient, there's still a certain jerkiness to how they move. This one is much smoother in its movements. Lucien is not going to believe him when he tells him about this.
The elf goes around to the front and spots the stack of trees.
"Well, now I've seen everything." He's talking about the robot, and how oddly alive it seems.
no subject
"I get that a lot. Sometimes panicked screaming, but that too."
no subject
Lucien is really not going to believe him.
"I've seen scarier stuff than you, trust me."

park, Nonah, at dark
And he's been observing Finn with the ducks for some time and it looks like he's just about ready to be wrapping up the night. It's now or never.
The vampire tucks the notepad into his vest and rises, making his way over to the other.
"Pardon me if I am bothering you, but I was wondering," His voice is light for a man, sweet and bubbly around his fangs and German accent, "Could I give you a coin for what you have left there? It looks like good fun you've been having."
He smiles, closed-mouthed but beatifically.
no subject
He's not expecting someone to come up to him at this time of night. Finn doesn't recognize the accent, though it sounds similar to the sort of accent Skyrim natives might have.
"Well, I don't see why not," Finn's voice is deep, yet soft, with a British accent. The dunmer holds out the rest of the bag out to Viago.
no subject
"How shall I pay you?" Viago returns in lieu of outright accepting the bag, just as soft, bending with a little deference at the hips. One hand gently delves into the pockets of his trousers, passing the bills and coming up full of pocket change.
no subject
"Well, the bag was two dollars and fifty cents. So maybe a dollar or whatever change you have." Seeing as how it isn't even a full bag at this point.
no subject
"Shall we call it a dollar?" Viago haggles, all the while ticking at coins he still isn't quite familiar with. The nickels are bigger, so they're worth more, right?
He sorts them with his nails.
"Though I am also wondering, what is it that has brought you out tonight? It does not seem like you are here to make sure this duck population is well fed so much."
no subject
"I like the park. It reminds me of home." Though obviously it's not as wild as Skyrim's wilderness. Even the hiking trails aren't quite the same as hiking through Skyrim or Morrowind, but he'll take what he can get. "I come here to relax and gather my thoughts."
Park (Heropa)
"Hey, what's up?"
no subject
Looking up, Finn smiled at the sight of Jonathan. "Not much. Just felt like getting some fresh air." He threw a few peas and corn bits into the water, where a mallard scooped them up. "How about you?"
no subject
He watched the ducks as they gobbled up the vegetables that were tossed to them.
"So how have you been? I haven't seen you since I turned back from being a tree."
no subject
"Yeah, I see you have a few less apples hanging off now." Truthfully, Finn had been a little busy now that Lucien was here and they had gotten to work making a new chapter of the Dark Brotherhood. Speaking of, Lucien's report on recruits he'd scouted out had been very interesting.
"I got myself a kitten. Named her Nirnroot. She seems to think my leg is a climbing post."

Roommates
Surprisingly, he hadn't met too many of his roommates. It's not that he was actively trying to miss them, it's just that that's just how things were.
One particular night Getaway made the rare decision to stay home and work on the one one human skill that caught his interest: Cooking. The cupboards were filled with apples, he found, so he decided to try to make something called "apple crumble". It seemed tasty and he sort of wanted to bring some by Tailgate afterwards to impress him with his culinary genius. So despite it being one in the morning, Getaway was standing in the middle of their kitchen with various ingredients strewn across the counter and Getaway himself, the image of a human woman, stood over a cooking book with a focused expression.

Which was why he sat up in bed when he smelled the apples baking. Still dressed in pajama pants and a sleep top, Finn went to investigate, a little black kitten tucked against him.
The Dunmer didn't recognize the woman in the kitchen. Either she was a burglar who took the time to make herself a snack, or she was a new roommate.
"If you're feeling peckish, there's easier ways to sate yourself, you know."
no subject
"Can't say I've ever baked much before, so I might as well take my fill before I end up going home."
no subject
The kitten reached for a utensil on the counter, and Finn pulled her up to rest against his shoulder, away from anything sharp.
"Let me guess, you were assigned to live here. Because if you broke in just to use the oven, that would be weird."
no subject
"Breaking into someone's house just to use their things isn't really the weirdest thing I've ever done. It's really hard to outdo time travel on anything after you do it at least once."
