[There's a fair few things Jacob doesn't like about Maurtia Falls, but the Burger Bunker is definitely not one of them. Located in the basement of a building, it's got a low-stress ambience that Jacob appreciates every bit as much as their excellent and fully customizable burgers.
Padme can find Jacob in a corner booth, away from the main crowd. Even three years after Archangel, it pays to be discreet when talking about it, especially in the Falls. He's wearing dark colours- the better to hide any juice stains that might ensue with this meal.]

[ Burgers are apparently important, and Padme has learned enough about food to be interested about why these are so well known. ]
There's no need for you to apologize. This place brings some good things, and also some bad. We simply have to be aware of and prepared for both.

Yeah, I do. It's not just about the food. It's... Relaxing, here. People know I'm an imPort, but they don't care one way or another. It's not like that everywhere. Especially not in Maurtia Falls.

That is certainly accurate. Maurtia Falls is an interesting place, and full of surprises, but it's friendliness towards Imports is limited.
Is it easier to find relaxing spots in other cities? I haven't visited any of them too extensively yet.

[Jacob's told this tale enough times by now that he's gotten pretty used to it. It's stopped being a wound to treat gingerly, and become a well-healed injury with little visible scarring.]
Archangel was founded in early 2015, about three years ago. A group of imPorts decided it was time to do something about the crime and corruption in Maurtia Falls. I was approached to be the field leader and public face of the group, because of my tactical experience. I'm the one who named it, after a friend of mine who did something similar back home.
[He grimaces.]
The other Archangel's career didn't have the best ending either. Maybe that should have been a warning to me.

We tried to do a lot of different things at once. Street patrol, cold case investigations, digging into police corruption. I knew going in that we'd make enemies, but I didn't expect how much the media and the politicians would turn against us.
I wanted to fight for Maurtia Falls. By the end, it felt too much like we were fighting against it. That's when things started going wrong.

[The culture of 'buyer beware,' of 'I've got mine,' of 'keep your mouth shut,' of 'look the other way.' Lessons that are deeply ingrained in the city's spirit and day to day life, layered in to the structure over generations.]
Pushing back against that turned people against us. Even the ones we were trying to help didn't trust us. It didn't help that we were breaking the law ourselves. Vigilantism, ripping off money launderers... we lost the high ground.

It's unfortunate, but I've seen it before. The warning and the information is certainly appreciated, though. I'm sorry your own efforts were unable to gain ground, Mr. Taylor. It was admirable of you to try.
