WHO: Armitage Hux and Kylo Ren
WHERE: about an hour away from De Chima, almost middle of exactly nowhere.
WHEN: January 24th
WHAT: Hux and Ren finally get a break just as Ren is ported out
WARNINGS: sexual content
"- and over there is the garage. I had a few projects I wanted to work on without worrying about rebels who are too curious for their own good. I'm sure you and your grandfather also have things you want to work on without prying eyes," he said as he opened the door to the garage.
It had taken a lot of work to get this set up but with the increasing rebel and Jedi presence, he considered it necessary to have a more remote place to work when he had the time to come out here. It was also quiet out here which he wasn't used to but it was a nice change nonetheless.
"There should be plenty of space though I haven't had a chance to set things up in here yet," he said as he let Ren inside to look around, leaning against the door to watch him.

He moved through the haven Hux had set up for them without a word- his fingertips running over surfaces idly as the General spoke. He could see it clearly. At first, it was his father working on the Falcon, older than he was here but so much younger, so much brighter, so much taller than the grief-torn shadow on that walkway-- but his mind was quick to overlay the memory with the less threatening image of his grandfather.
It was Anakin. Working on a speeder of some kind. He noticed Ren, stopped, grinned. Leant over it to ask Ren to hand him something.
Ren followed the vision through into the space, breathing slowly, before turning back to face Hux.
He could barely grasp what he was feeling, let alone compress the wild, soaring burst of it into words.
"Plenty," he agreed, almost dazed.

He looked back at Ren, not sure what to say for a moment.
"Good. There is space outside as well- there is no one around for at least several miles." It hadn't been easy to arrange such privacy but he was used to having to work in secret. "I have keys to the garage and the house made for you both so you can come here whenever you like."

"When you said you would find somewhere I could train. I imagined a warehouse. I must have forgotten you are the man who hollowed out a planet to make a weapon."

He held the door open for Ren to come out, amused. He wasn't sure when things changed between them and if pressed he would insist this was partly for him. But there was something that he felt when he had been watching Ren that he couldn't identify. He decided not to try as he started to lead Ren away from the garage. "Come on, I'll show you the house. It's not big but I think there are a few things you'll like about it."
no subject
"I'm already impressed," he said, following Hux's lead, slowly finding his way out of the almost dreamlike haze he'd fallen into. "And you're already getting whatever it is you want."

He was just not going to think about the fact that until Ren had mentioned it, Hux hadn't had anything he thought to gain from Ren for all this. "Grab your bag, I thought we could stay here at least overnight," he said as he put the keys on the entryway table. The house was sparsely decorated with a few pieces of furniture, just enough to make it livable for short-term stays. "Just wait until you see what's at the back of the house."
no subject
"You're rarely short of ideas," he accused, though it was a far softer jab than usual. Automatic, because it was expected. "As I can see..."
no subject
It just made him even more confused.
"There is a guest bedroom your grandfather can use and then there is our room," he said quickly before he had a chance to dwell as he led the way back to their room, putting his bags on the bed.

He put his bag beside Hux's on the bed, and before the General had a chance to lead him off to the next extravagance, he caught him by the arm and pulled him towards himself.
"I like that," he said. Simple. Uncomplicated. "Our room."
no subject
"I suppose there is technically no hurry to see the rest of the house right away." Not having a schedule to adhere to was still strange for him but out here it was just the two of them.
"I propose we try out our bed then," he suggested with a smirk, running his fingers idly through Ren's hair. "Though you might want to save some energy to enjoy the last part of the tour."
no subject
"I see," he murmured, his hands sliding over Hux's back, guiding him closer. "Is this when you tell me how you would like to be repaid first?"
no subject
"You already know that I can be quite...demanding..." he murmured as he undid the button on Ren's pants. "I mean, we have to make sure the bed is suitable, don't we?"
no subject
He tugged Hux back with him towards the bed.
no subject
There may be no rush, they don't have anywhere to be right away but Hux couldn't help himself at the moment.
no subject
"Do you intend to inform me further, or are you expecting me to read your mind?"
no subject
"I think you'll like what I have planned," he promised as he pushed Ren towards the bed. "But you're not allowed to have pants on."
no subject
"And your clothes?" He chuckled once Hux had stripped him out of his pants, sliding back onto the bed to watch him with a blend of amusement and promise, his eyes dark. "How do they factor in?"
no subject
"I think this will take afternoon so we won't need them for awhile."
no subject
"Your confidence in my abilities is always very encouraging. I'll have to do my best not to disappoint..."
no subject
"I have every reason to be confident in your abilities, Ren," he said softly before finally looking away to grab what they needed from the bedside drawer.

Because the second Hux turned away, Kylo Ren winked out of existence.

"Alright, Ren, this isn't funny." He hadn't heard anything though- Kylo Ren was not someone who moved around without a sound but he still looked under the bed just to check. This was- this wasn't good. He pulled on a robe as he searched around the house, calling Ren's name. The car was still parked outside and they were far enough from any town to make walking for even someone like Kylo Ren realistic. But there was no sign of Ren in the house or in the garage though he had a feeling he wouldn't find him.
The trackers- he pulled out his datapad but that tracker was dead. The phone tracker also showed no activity either. They were both offline.
That didn't mean that he wouldn't look, however. He pulled on clothes quickly, for once not caring how he looked as he headed out to the car. If Ren was on this planet, he would find him.
