Chill and casual. That's what they agreed to.

The restaurant Bela picked was nice though- not a taco or any intestines in sight. During her stay in De Chima, she had discovered quite a number of good places to eat in or get coffee from so she quite happy to share those recommendations with someone else. Or in this case, they were the perfect for getting to know someone in. Good atmosphere, good service and above all, a good menu.

She's waiting outside the restaurant, deciding to meet with Jake first before going in. It's a chilly night so Bela has wrapped herself up warm, wearing a coat, hat and gloves. All matching of course because that's how she rolls. Underneath all of that she is dressed to the nines, having falling in love with the dress mere moments after seeing it.

Her goal was to have an enjoyable evening with no expectations.

Anything else would be a bonus.

[ Jake was pretty sure he would have gotten lost, having spent very little time in De Chima doing the ol' exploration thing. But being on time for this super chill hang out was kind of important to him, so he'd allowed himself a half hour buffer period for any detours that might have happened along the way.

Which means he's walking up to their agreed restaurant right on time, or maybe a minute late, to find Bela waiting for him outside.

He's dressed a little less fancy than her - in a clean, blue plaid shirt and tie, dark jeans, and great sneakers (boy's gotta love his sneaks). He doesn't exactly look warm in his leather jacket, but he's opted for a scarf and gloves at the very least so he's clearly thought this through on some level.

He waves to her, expression brightening. ]

Heyy! You look - uh, cozy.

And nice. Obviously.

[ Bela would forgive him for being a little late, given that she knew that he lived in Maurtia Falls and not De Chima. It's just that the latter had a better selection of places to go to and the former was more dangerous at night.

She waves back at him and smiles.]

Hi. Thanks. I didn't want to risk getting a chill. [ Bela looks him over for a few moments, taking in the whole ensemble. ] You don't look as cosy but I am liking the overall look. Especially the jacket.

[ If it wasn't so cold, she'd probably opt for a leather jacket herself. ]
