WHO: Sabriel and YOU
WHERE: Around the Porter Cities
WHEN: December 15th- through the end of the month
WHAT: Catch-all log
WARNINGS: Probably none?
Locked to Chise
[De Chima was hardly short of places to shop. Aside from the glittering storefronts, a lower-tech market had been set up in one of the parks, full of stalls selling handmade crafts.
Sabriel was enjoying all of it. De Chima winters were mild compared to Ancelstierre, and the entire holiday was an odd mix of the familiar and the strange, and she'd found herself buying more than she expected. It was easier than she expected to shove aside the occasional thought that Magicman would like that or This would be perfect for Kaneda, or remembering the other imPorts who she'd grown close to, only to have left. She needed to focus on who was here now.]
Chise- what do you think of this world so far?
Maurtia Falls
[The northernmost Porter city was also the coldest, and Sabriel's breath fogged in the air. Still, she'd experienced colder, and she knows how to bundle up- underneath a knitted hat and scarf, she's hard to recognize.
What she hadn't expected was a gang dressed up as Santa and his elves.]
Is this some kind of joke? I'm not giving you any money, and you're under arrest.
[Which was honestly her reaction to most people who decided to commit crimes in brightly colored outfits, even if they're pointing knives at her. She takes a step back though, assessing her options.]
Delivering gifts
[Maybe you're the recipient. Or maybe you're just someone she bumped into on the way to drop off presents. Either way, Sabriel probably dropped something.]

Maurtia Falls
[The voice comes out of seemingly thin air before one of the elves' green hats is jerked down over his eyes and the knife snatched from his hand and tossed away. The Major de-cloaks before tossing the elf into one of his cohorts.]
And I can think of a few things to give Santa's little helpers.
[Mostly knuckle sandwiches.]
