[you don't really know why, but you wanna justify rippin' someone's head off]
WHO: Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, and Armitage Hux
WHERE: Somewhere in De Chima
WHEN: Sometime in November
WHAT: Hux is a terrible person, the actual Worst (tm), and so Jyn and Bodhi decide to exact some revenge.
WARNINGS: Will update as needed.
Jyn has lost count of all of the transgressions Hux has managed to commit in their relatively short amount of time in this new world and life. Aside from being a general nuisance and all-around terrible sort of person, Hux has now made very clear attacks against various people from their universe, as well as Rogue One in particular. It's after the most recent attack on Kay and his memory that Jyn's finally reached some sort of breaking point. She doesn't want to retaliate too extensively, lest she bring upon even greater retribution from such a pathetically insecure man, but she needs to do something.
And, despite all of her promises to Kay to avoid doing so when Hux had gone after Bodhi, she decides that she'll utilize her powers, just this once, to try and put Hux back into his place. She doesn't remember how the conversation had come up in the first place, but Bodhi agrees to go with her in her planned attack.
She decides to shift into a red-tailed hawk - an animal that can do significant damage if needed - but is otherwise common. Or, at least, common enough to not draw an immense amount of attention. She leaves a note for Cassian in their room, having mentioned the plan to him the night before, using code words and insinuations she'll know he'll understand but that the average person would think non-sensical in case the note is found.
At Bodhi's door, she knocks and leans her head in towards it.
"Bodhi, are you ready?"

That something wasn't murder, or threatening him harm if he messed with anymore of their friends.
(Better to do this now, so that Kay wont be disappointed with the risk they were taking).
Anyways, it wasn't a face to face meeting. A beak to face meeting, hopefully - if all went well. And with Jyn. Letting off steam and taking frustrations out... on the face of their frustration and anger. It made sense.
He hears the door. "Just a sec!" And scrambles to get it, dropping whatever he'd been doing on the way, opening it and giving her a nod. "Yeah, I'm ready. Let's go."

"If at any point you change your mind, Bodhi, you know that you're able to bow out of it, don't you? There's no point in doing it if you'd rather not - even if we're in the middle of it. You just have to break off, come back, and let me know that you're all right. No questions asked, though. Yeah?"

Hopefully.
Deep breath. "Let's get this show going, then?"

She's not told anyone else of their plan, partially to avoid the judging stares but also because she knows exactly the kinds of things they'd say to try and deter them. For once, Jyn wants to exact a revenge on someone who's made their lives so difficult. Jyn wants to do the very thing Cassian had prevented her from doing at the end with Krennic's unconscious body. Just once.
"All right. I've decided to go for a creature called a red-tailed hawk. Nothing conspicuous, but able to provide some carnage if it comes to it. Which hopefully it won't."
