Even the planet spins with a tilt
Who: Lorna Dane and OTA
What: wandering around thinking she's a teenager
Where: Heropa, mostly
When: the week of the memory plot
Warnings: Teenage Lorna is adorable, but some threads may become NSFW. These will be marked when necessary.
01 Lorna's House
Lorna was out in the garden, or what would soon be the garden. A book about growing herbs was in the grass next to her, and she looked over at it from time to time.
There were three animals playing in the grass. One was a cat-like creature, the others were actual cats. Now and then Lorna looked up to smile at them.
She hummed as she worked, obviously not afraid to get her hands a little dirty. In fact that was most of the fun. Today she was just clearing out some of the grass so she could fertilize and plant the next day. It was going to be awesome.
02 The Beach
After tending to her garden Lorna decided to take in some sun. So she went out in her bikini and took a cab to the closest pier. She remembered the Pacific ocean so clearly, but had never seen the Atlantic. Hopefully it would be as nice. Surely it would, nature was glorious no matter where you went.
Once she arrived she made a bee line for the sand, doffing her sarong and settling her little cooler on the way to the tide line. She waded in joyfully, her heart light with the wonder of this glorious view.

Today, however, wasn't one of those days when he just randomly wandered in. He had landed back with Erik just in time to see people lose their minds, memories, and it worried him. Naturally he reached out to all of them to make sure they were okay and safe.
He hadn't met Lorna properly before they had left for Europe but Erik had told him enough. There was obviously something wrong with the state of her mind.
He paused by her towel at the sand and waited for her to return from the ocean, smiling pleasantly with his hands locked on his lap. "It's a lovely day, isn't it?"

"It really is." Now that she was close enough to get a look at him he was quite attractive. She assumed he was there to flirt with her, because of course she looked good as well. She gave him a brilliant smile, then went to her little cooler and dug out a Coke. "Drink?"
no subject
"No, but thank you."
She didn't know who he was. Charles didn't pry very deeply into her mind at all, just enough to catch a few tell tale signs. He'd been seeing these strange occurrences with other people but this was a completely new one.
"Professor Charles Xavier," he said and offered her his hand in a greeting.

"I hope only good things," he said with a twinkle of amusement in his eyes. "What should I call you, miss...?" He squeezed her hand firmly and gave a friendly pat to the back of it with his other hand.
[ ooc: I'm sorry this took so long! ]

He gave a smile that was sweet and bright at the same time. He had no reservations about this. "But I do take students outside my work hours and try to help that way."
He paused and then asked because oh he was curious: "Remy? I don't think I'm familiar with him."

The fact that they'd been in bed together was not important, she didn't think, nor particularly any of Charles's business.

"And he's from back home? He also goes to the school?"

"What're you going to do here in this place? There's no mutant school here."

She spots Lorna walking by, pulling down her sunglasses just to comment: "What a lovely shade of hair. Is that your natural color?"

"I'm guessing you're an imPort. Is this the city they assigned you to?"
omg I'm so sorry for being a slacker about this thread

"What? What are you doing?" he asks the dog, crouching next to it. Mightynea barks in reply.
"Hidden item? You don't have Pickup!"

He jumps when Lorna approaches. He was really focused on watching Mightyenea.
"He's called Mighty-- wait, Lorna? You know him!"

Lorna shrugged, then held her hand out for the mightyenea to sniff. It had to be friendly if it was a pet, right?

He closes his eyes. Never mind.
"Did something happen? Are you alright?"

"I'm not worried at all. I gave her to you because I knew you could look after her no matter what," he says with a nod. "I'm sure your memory will come back."
