( Having a song stuck in your head when trying to fight crime isn't great, but she's doing her best to live with it. It's just so bloody catchy, and she has to remind herself not to hum as they hit the internal staircase the dickheads they're pursuing were last seen heading to.

Sarissa - sorry, Eureka, this whole referring to herself with a different name thing is hard to get her head about - Eureka isn't moving wholly solid. It doesn't let her keep up with the Flash, but it does mean that she can sort of fly up the space that the staircase spirals around, and maybe that'll make her less slow. )

Did you see the sign outside? There's an exhibit on Ancient Greece on!

( She sounds kind of excited, actually, and beams as she looks to her buddy, before scowling. ) I hope they aren't about to trash an exhibit with ancient artefacts, Jesus.

[ the advantage to having super-speed is while it takes ten seconds for another to run up the stairs, he's able to enjoy an exhibit. the golden-yellow tell-tale signs of the flash light up the stairwell constantly, but barry allen has been elsewhere — he's been reading that ancient greece exhibition plaques lined up within the room, viewed all the artefacts, and even wrote down his own questions to ask one of the employees here. ]

[ voice an echoing vibration, ] Yeah! I just saw it. The sound effects are great. [ he sounds so giddy about it. for a moment he's there, two steps ahead of sarissa, all in his vibrating red glory, then he's wrapped up in the golden-yellow streaks of kinetic energy. doors slam and locks click into place as barry tries his best to pre-empt where their villains could possibly head. ] I locked the door to the exhibit, so it's all under control!

[ it is, in fact, not all good. barry allen had locked the door to the exhibit of ancient egypt, another one he had enjoyed while sarissa flew up the stairs. the door he's purposefully left unlocked is that of the ancient greeks. ]

Oi, ( and there goes her unreliable attempt at an American accent, ) what d’you mean you just saw it? Did you even appreciate it?

( And then, a hissed whisper, ) Are you winding me up?

( Focus, Eureka, focus. She huffs out a breath, coming to stand by the door, and rolls her neck with a noisy crackle, that’s a little bit lightning and a little bit regular spine-protest. ) Okay, nevermind, I’m focused. Ready to rock and/or roll?

[ in a gust of kinetic wind, he's beside her. craning his neck to the side, he mulls her question — a question that isn't for mulling over — over. ] Eh.

[ tilting his head back, he looks up at the door, as if trying to size it up. ] Ready when you are. Although can I just point out that if we get this over and done with within, like, seven minutes, we can see the display activate again?

[ barry … come on, it's at least six minutes. ]
