[OPEN] ten thousand miles above the clouds
WHO: Crime children + Pokeboys + OPEN to anyone who's not a gross old
WHERE: Yusuke's place, Heropa 15
WHEN: Friday, October 6th
WHAT: Red is looking for friends, Yusuke has friends, everyone get together and chill. Or do the opposite of chill? Depends on how many troublemakers are invited. This is totally NOT a party.
WARNINGS: Teens doing stupid stuff, more than likely.
[ Even though Yusuke shares this house with three other roommates, it's clearly recognizable as his. While the giant entertainment center and most of what's in the kitchen belongs to his roommate Jaime, the way everything is organized just so screams Yusuke. Everything is cool toned, efficient, and right where it belongs, with paintings lining the walls, from colorful abstract nightmares to loving renditions of people he knows, contrasted against the light grey of their backdrop.
There's pizza on the table and drinks in the fridge (non-alcoholic, for now, until Blue shows up or someone suggests that he borrow Reggie's 'make everything alcoholic' powers), somehow, Yusuke has no qualms providing for other people even if he needs to be prodded into feeding himself. Besides that, he's made sure there's plenty to do - there's an entire list of laughably bad Sharknado-tier films queued up, an old karaoke machine scavenged from a secondhand store that won't play anything made past 1995, and a collection of various board and/or party games to ruin your new friendships.

Red/Blue | Pikachu
[By the time Red arrives at Heropa 15, he's already looking a little more flat-faced than normal. This is probably due in part to the fact that Blue Oak is only a good foot or so behind him, blathering (probably bragging, actually) incessantly about something. He's been doing this the whole way over from De Chima, so Red is really less irritated and more totally checked out by this point.
[He has also yet to notice that Blue has at least two grocery bags full of alcohol with him (this is probably what Blue has been bragging about). After so many years, Red has pretty much learned how to tune him out completely - sometimes to a fault, apparently.
[Once they make it into the house, though, Red does seem to brighten up just a little more - he is supposed to be here to make friends. He doesn't exactly smile, but he will (somewhat shyly) wave at whoever happens to be there to greet.]
Pikachu
[At any given moment throughout the evening, Pikachu can be found doing just about anything that will make him the center of attention. He might come running at you only to bunt his head against you like a cat. Perhaps you might find him stealing a piece of pizza from the table. You will almost definitely see him intentionally try to trip Blue or give him a little shock - but he's a good rat, really.]
Pik-a-chu!
no subject
He tears a bit off his pizza, making sure to get a little topping on the piece, and leans down so he can wave it in Pikachu's direction.]
Hey, you hungry?

Blue and BOOZE
[He isn't expecting to see anyone he's already met here, since he'd never met this Yusuke guy Red had told him about, and he doesn't really know what the host looks like, either. So once they're inside, he just mosies along until he finds a spot where drinks are gathered to drop the bottles of booze off, then grabs a quick beer for himself.]
[Blue has never had a problem integrating himself into the social scene, so as soon as he's dropped off his booze, he's looking for the first group of people he can find and diving right in to break the ice.] Yo! You want a drink?
no subject
If there's stuff to mix it with, sure. I don't like it if it's not a little sweet.
[Mostly because he's still too new to it to find it palatable any other way.]

[ They sure have absolutely never met so Yusuke has no reason to recognize him when he comes through the door. Therefore, he pretends he doesn't, but he plays the role of kind host anyway! ]
You must be Blue? I saw you come in with Red. Are you...brothers?
[ You know, cuz of the names?? It's kind of weird. Yusuke would totally name a kid something like Lavender or Scarlet but Blue is sort of basic tbh ]

chasing Pikachu aroundwith the other guests before coming back to Blue's side, looking a little overwhelmed, but generally content all the same. He gives the other a small wave, then a slightly judgmental look as he observes all of the alcohol.[It's true. Up until this point of the evening, he hadn't even noticed anyone drinking. He sighs. And that's really all that needs to be said for now.]

Of course, someone had to bring alcohol. You know, he was somehow not surprised, though it wasn't exactly like Akira didn't approve.]
I'm actually good with just water this time. [He smiled and lifted a cup he already had, giving a nod that almost made it look like he was toasting.] I'm watching my figure.

Shinjiro
(He was, at least, clean— both himself and his clothes, so it won't be immediately apparent he spent the last two days mostly hanging around an alley somewhere near the Heropa downtown.)
Shinjiro knocks on the door. ]
I'M SORRY ALREADY LMAO (also I hope this is ok)
I'm guessing you're one of Yusuke's friends, [ he says as he opens the door. ] Come right on...
[ Oh, shit. He knew this was going to happen eventually, but not now, and certainly not here, where he and Shinji lived together - where Shinji used to just stroll right on in like he owned the dang place, long after he'd moved out, because he always knew he could count on some peace and quiet and sitting around like a couple of lumps when he came to see Jaime. So instead of being a gracious host and welcoming him inside, Jaime just stares at him like he's seen a ghost. It takes a hair too long for him to think to himself: say something, you idiot. ]
Yusuke's inside, [ he blurts out, and then does the only thing he can think of, which is to immediately bolt.
Welcome to the party, Shinji! ]

JAIME REYES / THE PARTYPOOPER & HOMEOWNER
Which is mostly what he continues doing - he has schoolwork to do, and he makes no qualms with hunkering down at the kitchen table with his laptop and thick psychology textbooks he occasionally looks up to leaf through. That being said, whenever someone enters the room, he looks up with a smile; he may not be a part of the party, but he's a friendly enough guy.
That being said, this is his house too, so you may find him in the living room, mostly sweeping through to clean up people's cups and get rid of any trash before returning to the kitchen. Is he the Mom of the party? Oh, god, he's the Mom of the party.
Oh, well. It has to be cleaned up sometime, and after three broken windows in what feels like as many months, he's not taking any chances. ]

[Red groans a bit, sitting up and rubbing an injured elbow. Then he remembers that he's just bumped into someone and likely toppled them over as well and his face takes on his namesake, flaring up bright Red while his hands fly up in apology and he begins shaking his head.]

[Calls an obnoxious voice before it plunks down at the table across from Jaime. Who calls someone they've never even met a nerd? This guy.] I'm Blue, by the way. Whatcha studying, anything interesting?
[...From how loud he's been all evening and the ever-presence of a cup in his hand, it's safe to say that Blue is intoxicated, although whether that's to blame for his mouth is questionable at best.]

[ Other than the weird paintings and the busted window that was inflicted upon him by a now-departed menace, Yusuke is usually a good roommate. He keeps everything, both in his own room and the common areas, nice and clean, unless he's midway through a rush of artistic inspiration, and even then, he cleans up after. He holds his hand out to take the crushed cans and paper plates dotted with pizza grease. ]
I didn't realize Blue was bringing so much alcohol.

It doesn't take him long to make a face at it.]
How the hell does anyone talk a producer into making shit like this?
no subject
Blackmail, maybe? Just imagine, if there were five fewer 'Mega-Piranha vs. Were-bat' films, and someone put their combined budget towards something of artistic value.
[ Making movies isn't cheap. Even garbage ones. As he stews in mild outrage, he takes a bite from his stolen pirozhki, and makes a pleased noise as he chews. ]

Futaba
It's not that she was feeling particularly overwhelmed or shy here, most people were her friends and people she knew well. No--No she was keeping to herself to keep from overwhelming other people. Particularly those that happened to have Pokemon. She may or may not have fixated on the roaming Pikachu more than once tonight--She and Red had barely just agreed to be friends, she didn't want to scare off someone cool by being weird about knowing him.
If she blabbed about the whole "oh you're fictional in my universe" thing she might break someone. Better to be the one approached than to do the approaching tonight. If anyone does so, she'll either be curled up on a couch watching a bad attempt at "action/horror" or picking at the food.
She might get in on a party game or two once someone gets her to relax enough to join in on one.]
no subject
[Though Red himself is a bit subdued tonight (and always) it doesn't take him too terribly long to approach her, doing so with just the tiniest hint of a smile and a small wave. Pikachu, on the other hand, is always ready for more attention and greets the girl with a loud and cheerful] Pik-a! [before leaping down onto the couch next to her and preparing for what it hopes will be a lot of good pets.]

Veronica Sawyer
For the most part, though, it's fairly clear that Veronica's heart isn't quite in this party. She's had a long week, so far, her housemate was murdered and then brought back to life via the nanites. It's been rough, and so she doesn't seem quite so enthusiastic for the party at the moment, retreating more than once to the kitchen to snack on something away from people.
But she's not going to turn away company.]
I'm gonna go ahead and assume they've yet to meet up for that battle demo
[Point being, he's been making use of the kitchen as his own little escape room. This time around, it's with Pikachu in tow - but he doesn't expect anyone else to be there.
[Unbeknownst to him, this is someone that he's actually spoken to before. Perhaps knowing so would serve to make his small, silent wave just a little less shy.]
Sorry.

Akira Kurusu | OTA
Well, despite what people might expect of him, Akira was abstaining from doing anything too terribly intense, and furthermore, he wasn't drinking.
That didn't mean Akira wasn't going to create some kind of chaos though, it just meant that the chaos would come less from booze or making out with everyone(probably?) and mroe from just his natural ability. And you know, a karaoke machine. Thank you, Yusuke, for this perfect opportunity for Akira to make some noise.
He's picked up the mic and turned it on. He hasn't chosen anything yet, but he's looking to the nearest person with a smile on his face that seemed maybe TOO innocent on his face.]
Hey, wanna do one with me? It's more fun when you've got a partner.
[He gives a little wink at that. Yeah, he might have a song or two in mind, even if these ones are pretty old compared to what he's used to.]
no subject
She looks at Akira in surprise, nodding after a moment. Fortunately, she has the singing voice of a fairy tale princess. Lucky her.]
Why not? Just as long as we pick something I know. The music here is so different from the songs back at home.

Goro Akechi | OTA
Despite the strides his taken to become more friendly and open, he still feels as though he doesn't belong at parties like this. He's fine with observing, for now, fine with simply watching others have fun. He at least made an effort to get a drink (non alcoholic -- he's not about to make those mistakes again any time soon. He fears he's made enough) and he would find the courage to try and mingle.
It's not like deep down he still felt like he was an outsider among the Phantom Thieves and their friends. ]
no subject
Are you planning on hiding out away from everyone all night?
[ Really, if anyone's an outsider, it's Shinji. What with the...everyone around him knowing he's a Persona user while he doesn't have a clue. Akechi can't make it more awkward for himself than that, can he? ]
