Well, through cameras with really high definition. [ you could see their sweat so really HIGH definition. ] The same way you record a video message with the communicator's camera.
However, a lot of these are also special effects - made with computers.

[He barely breathes this, eyes going back to the credits for a moment, hoping idly that he might catch another glimpse of the incredible camera work. There's a brief pause, then, and he realizes that he must look something like a child right now in all of this overenthusiastic excitement - he clears his throat, body noticeably stiffening, but when he turns back to Kaneki, there's still something lighter than normal about his expression.]
I suppose you must be quite used to these sorts of things by now. [He doesn't appear to be nearly as impressed.] Did you enjoy it anyway?
no subject
Camera wise and effects wise it's an okay movie- I mean, there are better, but it wasn't so bad. [ the fur on some of were-creatures looked nice ] The story isn't exactly what I'm used to, though.
no subject
What I gathered from the story was utterly ridiculous. [Back to Kaneki, his expression looking a little wry now.] Would that be what you're referring to?
no subject
holy shit I never thought I would use this icon in game someone give Kaneki a fucking medal
[D33 actually laughs. It's short-lived - little more than a short "ha" - and as quiet as one would expect, but it's there - genuine, perhaps even lighthearted. And he doesn't even attempt to cover his ground once it's over, simply shaking his head back at the screen with that same small smile on his face.]
Ridiculous...[He mutters.]
dokis forever
He won't say anything about that, of course, kaneki isn't the type to ruin the moment, but he joins D33's smile with own of his own ]
Well, you seemed to enjoy it a lot.

[D33's smile has faded by now - not entirely disappeared. That is to say, the expression on his face remains mild, somewhat light - not the usual resting scowl that he usually wears.]
Perhaps we might seek to find one with a more tolerable plot one day. [He pauses for a moment, moves his eyes to glance at Kaneki without moving his head.] If I am to be entirely honest with you, I found it a bit hard to absorb most of what was going on between the characters. The scenes surrounding them were a bit...[How to put this...]...overwhelming.

No romance next time, though ]
Maybe after watching a couple more you can follow the story better. However, it's possible to watch movies on the TV and even a computer. [ but the theater is much bigger, much grander, so D33 would probably prefer to watch movies there.
Soon enough the whole room is empty and the credits finish rolling, so it's time for them to leave ] Let's go?
no subject
[Exiting the movie theater, the light of day makes D33 recoil a bit, shielding his eyes as they adjust from the darkness he'd been enduring for the last two hours or so (kind of like when he finally leaves his house after being up all night) - his nose is a little wrinkled when he turns back to Kaneki.]
Is there somewhere else you'd like to go?
[Is that D33...wanting to continue a human interaction? It sort of seems that way. So he's having a good time - sue him. He's never gonna admit it (except he totally already did).]
no subject
He wasn't expecting to be asked to further the interaction since they already spent a lot of time together at work, but since D33 is asking, Kaneki is ready to offer ]
There is a nice coffee shop by the beach if you'd like to check it out with me.
no subject
Very well. [He nods, waits for Kaneki to lead the way. Then, after a moment, he adds.] You know, I don't believe I have yet seen the ocean up close.
no subject
[ oh- but it's so close ] Then, let's go there instead. A walk on the beach doesn't sound so bad, right?
no subject
I will follow your lead, Kaneki.
no subject
Alright, just be careful it has a lot of sand. [ naturally.
So instead of heading to the coffee place, Kaneki takes a detour to the beach, so they can actually get to the sand and take a walk closer to the water ]
no subject
I, ah...[Apparently he sounds as nervous as he looks, but he doesn't want either, so he clears his throat, gets himself together a bit, and tries to think of an excuse as to why he won't go closer.]
Perhaps we might sit here for a moment. This view is quite something.
no subject
Hm? [ kaneki turns back to D33, looking over his shoulder. After, he nods softly ] Sure, the sun will set soon so it could be good to watch it, too.
no subject
[And the ocean. As frightening as it might be, there is something rather...majestic? Is that the right word? Overwhelming, maybe, would be more apt. He eyes it with a sort of reverent caution as he takes a seat in the sand, resting his arms over his knees and putting his eyes to the sky as if he'll miss the sunset otherwise.
[What a...strangely nice day this has been. He doesn't say so. He's not concerned to. He doesn't dare question the feeling out loud lest it be taken from him. So he'll just stay silent, watching the sky, smelling the salt and burrowing his feet in the sand.]
