[Closed] Captured beast within a human skin

WHO: Toboe and Bader
WHERE: Around the city
WHEN: The day Toboe arrived
WHAT: Continuing this
WARNINGS: None so far

[ the question makes him tilt his head, confused ] All wolves do that. [ she did that. Didn't she...?

if she pays close attention, however, Toboe's shadow is of a wolf, not human. And if she pays close attention and really hard, she can glimpse through Toboe's illusion and in place of a boy the is a wolf for half of a second there.

But he listens to her, finishing his steak fast, and after he grabs the paper to lick it. ]
Shelter?

You don't have to be on the verge of getting wiped out to see the advantages in avoiding people. [ Bader barked a short, if a bit grim, laugh. The hint of pronounced canines stood out with her mouth open wide as she chuckled and smiled. ]

Quent? [ Head tilted she makes a thoughtful noise and considers if that was a name she had heard before. For her own saftey she kept an ear to the ground whenever there was word on new imPorts coming in. Best to size up competition before they let on. ] Can't say I have. Is he a human, or...?

People are great, but that doesn't mean you should trust them right away. [ Toboe was somewhere far on the naive side; not dim, but she suspected a natural and instinctual fear of people had never properly fostered. ]

I'm sorry about your friend, but anyone coming in hurt would have been taken to the hospital. [ She had half a mind to check there, too for anyone word on especially interesting imPorts, and to scout out someway to swipe a blood bag whenever the Red Cross rolled into town. ]

I could show you around the place. [ She smiled, toothy but warm. ] Just so you don't get lost and wander somewhere that isn't safe for puppies.
