OPEN! (August catch-all)
WHO: Vos and you!
WHERE: All over the place, so pick a location and he can be there!
WHEN: August 10th onwards. Feel free to pick a date if you want!
WHAT: Shopping, out and about, work. Basically doing Things of a non-violent nature. Come bother him!
WARNINGS: Will update if anything comes up. Starting prose, but will match you!
A - General Things
Like it or not, he is organic, and has a lot of things to do. All of them more or less involve setting up to be human, and as such he can be found armed with a list of things, found via the internet, he needs. It means a lot of shopping. Multiple trips with lots of window shopping when it comes to clothes. This includes a few dress shops, as Vos doesn't remotely care that his human guise is female - or a shorty at 5'3. It needs clothes, and these are clothes. Though he doesn't come away with any dresses in the foreseeable future.
Aside from the first trip, Vos very quickly adopts mostly white and purple clothing and flat soled boots, but that doesn't mean his clothing choices always run to those colours or shoes. They are always long sleeved though, to hide the bandage on his arm, and flat soled shoes. He's got a nice selection of colours going on, though some of those colours are garishly bright or look like he raided a thrift-store or something. Why organics need all this stuff, he'll never know.
Sometimes he'll turn to the nearest person, probably with some horrid colour choices or something that won't suit the human body, and ask: "Which one?" Or "What colour?"
Food shopping is also a thing, though Vos's idea of food is less buy what he likes, and more: that sure is ten packets of chips, or that sure is a lot of juice, or tea, or coffee, or milk, or noodles, or junk food. So much junk food, and a lot of sugar. Though, from the 20th of August onwards, a lot of that slowly changes towards sugary things with real sugar, and the Gluten Free side of things, with Vos very carefully reading labels. He found out the hard way he's gluten intolerant, and he refuses to make himself sick again, thanks.
Sometimes he might even have a few natives around him, and he's not above allowing them to take selfies with him, or ask harmless questions, or have them help with any shopping he's doing. If things get too annoying, or he loses patience, then he simply snaps at them to 'go away' in Old Chinese, the early form of Tamil he could find, or Old English. Or, sometimes, Sumerian of all things. Once or twice, there is an attempt to speak Primal Vernacular, but that ends with Vos coughing and in a foul mood and looking like he's three seconds away from murder.
The only time his rifle is out is when he's at a shooting range, and there he seems to be in his element. As odd as it is to hold a scaled down version of his altmode, he adapts quick enough to wielding it. He likes the shooting range. It allows him to vent his frustration on harmless targets (and keeps him from murdering someone), though he's not to keen on having to stop and reload after expending the thirty bullets his rifle comes with.
Anyone who asks to look at the rifle is greeted with a suspicious glare. "Why?"
B - Work - Heropa.
Of course, there's also work as a hovercar mechanic at the The Modern Muffler. His human form did get a few looks to start with, but Vos really does not care what an organic thinks, and he's a very quick study when it comes to the job. Anyone that comes by looking for a chance to selfie with an imPort is out of luck though. Vos is working; it might not be doing what he likes, but it's something he can focus on, and it pays the bills. Though, he's not working on hovercars all the time; he does have to sometimes greet a customer.
It's always with a friendly enough: "Hi, can I help you?"
C - Out and About.
If he's not doing any of the above, he can be found exploring all of the porter cities, and will very much be asking people where he can find X, or if they know of any good places to eat or shop. He'll be looking into everything ever, and will always have a map on hand. The notes on the Heropa, De Chima and Nonah maps are written in English, and all of them are touristy type notes, from the location of a good food joint, to a more upmarket restaurant, to shops that sell stationary. Even the porter location is marked with a star and a smiley face.
The Maurtia Falls map however, is covered in messy writing, all of it in Primal Vernacular. For those few that can possibly hope to read it, it's a mix between touristy notes to the darker side of the city. The side that Vos likes. He doesn't need to know anything about organics to know this is something he wants to poke his nose into more, but for now, all of the writing is rumours, with names and locations, if he can get them. Harmless enough, and things to be investigated later when he's a bit more... established as someone harmless.
Otherwise, he looks like the typical tourist. Perhaps a bit under or over dressed at times, and occasionally walking like he's got a murder to get to. Sometimes he can even be found at a café, not quite sure what to order, or even try at times. Which means he will be turning to the person next to him, and asking: "I can't decide. What do you think?"
D - Night: The Robot.
For those who are either brave, stupid, or both, they can find Vos-the-Cybertronian on most nights for at least a few hours, almost always on the outskirts of one of the porter cities, or down at the beach. Doing what? Nothing other than sitting cross legged, and probably hooked into the network or the internet while he stares out at the planet he's trapped on. Rarely will he be in altmode, and if he's approached, he will transform back to rootmode. There's two Autobots here, after all.
If he is approached, he'll cock his head with narrowed, red eyes - and ask a question. In Primal Vernacular, which for most people? good luck understanding it. For those that can, he's asking "What do you want?"
((OOC: Vos's got an Opt-out/special permissions post here! Please fill it in so I don't step on toes.))

d
He's actually on the beach when he notices.
"Oh."
Re: d
The 'oh' is met with Vos simply cocking his head to the other side, gaze settling to something more curious.
But it remains on Riptide.
no subject
no subject
Then points at Riptide with the other, then at the beach. It's a big beach. He's not moving.
no subject
Because apparently that means Riptide owns all the beaches, ever.
"You go away! Go sit on some hill or something."
no subject
At least Riptide's put him a good mood, because while his eyes dance with laughter, there's no hidden cruelty or malice. All the hill suggestion gets is a shrug, and a single, very badly pronounced Neocybex, "Nuh-oh."
Also known as No. No to what? Who knows.
no subject
"I'm not leaving here, you bastard," he says, kicking some sand at the DJD member.
no subject
The kicked sand is brushed off with his free hand, and some of it at least is flicked back at Riptide with a blank stare, before he shrugs then nods, not even shocked. The Autobot did warn the rest of the comms about him after all. He does point around to the sea, then up to the stars, mimicking as if he's looking at them, or just staring out at the water, or something.
Truth be told, he's simply enjoying being in his natural form while he can.
As unwelcome as he is, Riptide is free to join him if he really wants.
no subject
"Do you even know why people hate you? Do you even care?"
no subject
Does he care? Hmm. That gets a shrug. He's not gonna answer that.
Then Riptide's imPortcomm will ding with a message. Looking at the sea and the stars. Company's company.
Join?
no subject
"Get scrapped, psycho."
no subject
He could do this for a long time, if only because like he said, company is company.
"Nuh-oh." He shakes his head. Try harder.
A
or don't look like... that?
When Vos asks for an opinion regarding those clothes, he just stares for a moment "Er... do you.. feel comfortable in that?" it's not right to judge strangers, ok!!
no subject
This voice - this organic was helpful when he arrived. As far as Vos cares, that means he's useful. "You're Kaneki?"
no subject
"Ah- yes? I am. have we met?" oho, someone who knows him? But this person is new, kaneki never saw them before,
no subject
He then points to himself with his left hand. "Vos. We spoke on the comms." Well, Network, but it might as well be a comms-system for all Vos cares. There's a sharp smile. "Voices are easy to recognise."
no subject
"How was the wound after? It was easy to fix, I hope."
no subject
"Easy enough. But painful." He shrugs slightly, as if it doesn't bother him. As if he didn't pass out because he decided it was better to cauterize the wound instead of going to a hospital.
He never wants to do that again, or touch anything hot.
no subject
"has it been very hard, to be human?" he imagines Vos probably has some questions.
no subject
Not that the next question fairs any better; Vos's head tilts back and to the side, arms now crossed. Yet, he doesn't say the first thought that comes to mind: that it's been the vilest, revolting experience in his entire life, and if he wasn't forced to return to human after a couple of hours as a robot, then he wouldn't. "I've found a number of guides on the internet. Some are useful, others not."
no subject
"it must be really strange, i can't imagine how that would be. Can't you stay in your original form, though?"
no subject
Yea.
"Not for long, no." He really, really wishes he could though. It's make all of this that much easier to deal with.
no subject
It does that quite often.
no subject
He shrugs a little. It's quite upsetting if he's honest. He was made to be wielded, to be picked up and fired.

C- De Chima
"It's a bit too hot to order soup, but the sandwiches and salads are nice." It's what she's ordered, along with some ice water. Then she spots the map.
"Are you new in town?"
no subject
The woman is spared a glance, but the question. Hmm. "Do you live here?"
If she did, he could potentially use her insight to the city. There was only so much he could find by himself after all.
no subject
no subject
"You've been ported out before." Not really a question. "What's your job?"
no subject
no subject
The most pressing question.
no subject
Which worked out fine up until something serious happened.
