"It still doesn't make sense," Jyn mutters, mostly to herself instead of Kay. Her brows gather at the center, eyes searching the throngs of attendees' feet as though she might find the answer trampled under the sole of someone's shoe. She doesn't, of course, and she's so lost in her thoughts that it's only the touch of his hand that draws her out of the haze. She looks at it wit some alarm before lifting her gaze to his photoreceptors, less alarmed but curious. "You know what we're planning to do with the place, right? Most people have questions about what sort of classes there'll be, that sort of thing." She blinks. "But. I don't think I need to go anywhere. Not .. at the moment." She'll just stew in the confusion later on, when she's alone.
"But, uh. That was. Thoughtful .. of you. To offer."
