It took several encounters with this Cisco before that happened.... he's just better at bottling up any emotions he doesn't want other people to see.
He's silent for a while, waiting to see if Cisco will say something else. This whole situation is way outside of the scope he's used to, and though he feels for Cisco, he isn't quite sure what to do. When the conversation doesn't progress immediately, he realizes that he does, in fact, have to do something, and hesitantly puts his hand over Cisco's wrist.]
