Life has taught me not all such things can ones we can control. Part of dealing with the government is coming to terms with the fact that they will always view certain groups as inherently suspicious. To Western Russians it's Tatars, to Central Russians it was Azeri, to East Russians it was Chukchi, but everyone has their unfair prejudices. If you try to endeavor to change things all on your own, you will wear your fingers to the bone on such a project. I don't think your cause is unjust or ignoble, but you need more people, not just to accomplish your goal, but to keep from burning out.

...I really should not be lecturing you like you're one of my children. I apologize, you simply - you remind me of my youngest daughter, always trying to help people, and that's a very big workload to impose upon yourself. [Although it was a good indicator of character, in his opinion.]
