Veronica hadn't actually meant the costume to be a secret. She hadn't even tried to keep it a secret, leaving bits of fabric and paper all over the place, but she hadn't exactly given them a heads-up she would be hanging out at the convention in costume either. But she flashes a smile at Jyn and does a little spin in place, as if about to change clothes from Amazon to not-an-Amazon.
Then she stops, and tucks her hair behind her ear, and it's a move that belongs to Veronica, not the confident Amazon she's currently dressed as.
"Yeah, and it was a bitch to put together." She pauses a second, as if remembering that this is someone from another galaxy entirely whose swear words are completely different from hers. "I mean, putting it together was really hard," she amends, to be more considerate. "You'd think it'd be so much easier, really."
Anyway. She puts the slushie down on the table. "Sure," she says, easily. "You're cheery today." The sudden interest in social interaction has definitely gotten Veronica's attention, but as far as she's concerned it can't be that bad. Anyway, her own booth can keep for a bit.
