[Oh, sitting? He'd be glad to sit. He takes her hand with another nod, stepping as lightly as he can as he follows her. How does Mitsuru fight in these? And do all her school responsibilities in these? She's truly the President.]

Are you dressed up as someone, Kasumi-san?

[ Were Kasumi not so petite, she would totally princess carry Ken. Instead, she leads them slowly to a free bench, somewhere a little quieter. ]

Me? Oh. I'm dressed up as someone dressed up as a female version of Shepard.

So...

You're just dressed up.

[That's what it is right]

I'm undercover.

[ There's a difference! ]

So you're dressed up to go undercover!

[Ok, Kasumi-san.]

Well, it's nice. Even if you're undercover, it's nice seeing your face.

Aww, you're sweet, Ken!

[ Have a pat on the head, adorable bean! ]

It's nice seeing you, too. And your costume is even better close up! That quality's pretty top notch.

[Maybe boys won't usually be overjoyed about being complimented on their dresses, but Ken's no ordinary boy, and also he's very proud of his and Maya's handiwork. He's also simply happy about having accomplished something like this at all, and Kasumi's words make him smile to himself, cheeks flushing.]

We stayed up all night working on it... it was a lot more complicated than that Koro suit from Halloween.

[ She missed seeing that smile of Ken's. It's been a while. She pulls her hand back after the headpat, and then cups her chin as she continues to survey the costume. ]

No kidding! Maybe I should commission you guys to help me with my next big disguise.

[ Half-jokingly. Maybe. Though now that she's said it out loud, it doesn't sound like that bad of an idea...? ]

Commission... us...?

[There's a pause as he tries to figure out what that means.]

Oh, like, ask us to make you something?

That's right. Like if I needed to go undercover as a pop star or something, you guys would make the perfect costume for that.

[ Which... would never happen, because honestly, Kasumi as a pop star? But it's fun to think about. At this point, she's just being silly, hoping to amuse Ken at least a little bit. ]

[amadaman]

... I dunno if I could picture you being a pop star, but I think it'll be fun to make something. They had patterns for hooded jackets... [which, you know, is an interest they share.]

[stealwithit]

You're right. I could probably swing jazz singer, but pop star... Oh!

[ She smiles at him. Hoods? Now we're talking. ] We could make matching hooded jackets. I'll help you guys.

Then it sounds like we're going to have to go fabric shopping. Do you want to go with me?

[stealwithit]

[ She looks thoughtful for a moment. When was the last time she did something... crafty? ]

Sure. I don't think I've ever made clothing from scratch before. It'll be fun!

It is pretty fun. When are you free?
