[ If you're at all close to Hiro (or are coming along with M'gann), you received a message to come to Heropa Residence #016 to come help sort out the poor kid's brain. The entire log will take place ICly on July 5th; however, the post itself will be open as long as necessary to allow everyone who wants to participate enough time to do so.

[Was it possible to wake up with a headache in someone else's mind? Gogo didn't know, but she is making her best attempt at it. The fire had disoriented her and she spent several moments berating herself for being afraid of what else she was going to find here.

She couldn't afford the emotion.

Gogo puts her hand on the red door and turns her head upon noticing someone joining her. Glitch, she recalls. He was with them at Cass's. She hadn't been too concerned with saying hi at the time.]

What a trip, huh?

[She twists the handle to let them both inside.]

[ Glitch had just arrived in this room after his own little jaunt in tiny Hiro's memory. Still, stepping out that door and into another one didn't exactly mean it would be a comfortable trip. Just like before it's that sensation of falling and hitting the floor into another room.

He rubs his head and groans in mild pain before he notices he's in a room with that GoGo girl. ]

Ugh, yeah. Remind me to break the teeth of the guy who caused this.

[ Glitch stands behind her at the ready. ]

Look for any ice inside. Like a huge chunk. I think that's the problem.

Better get in line. [She was going to have words of her own with whoever thought it would be fun to mess with her friends. Words that came in the form of a power disc whipped at high speeds at his face.]

Ice, huh? Why ice?

[She's stepping inside as she asks. Whatever she expected to see it wasn't a data bank, though it doesn't come too much as a surprise. Hiro was always very organized in his chaos. He probably had to be. The attendant makes her stop short, however, questions momentarily put on hold.]

Hiro...

I dunno. Just something I encountered in one of the other rooms. Ice monster trying to keep Hiro stuck or whatever and this huge chunk seemed to control it. Once you smash that, no monster, brain control weakens I guess.

[ At least that's the theory he's running on here. Glitch is a little preoccupied with the names on the shelves. His fingers tracing along them and reading each one. It's when Gogo says Hiro's name that he breaks his attention on the shelves to turn it towards the person in the chair. ]

Careful... [ They don't need a monster trying to bite their heads off. ]

[ The attendant doesn't seem to be an ice monster just yet. He barely has enough energy to lift his head and look at them. ]

What do you want?

[She shoots Glitch a look, but doesn't hesitate to approach. It's Hiro. What does she need to be careful for? She kneels down to look up at him, worryingly reminded of how he looked in the hospital.]

We want to help.

[microbrobotics]

[ It's a similar expression; both seem faintly glazed over, almost drugged. ]

You can't. So you should just leave already.

[glitchinthesystem]

[ He raises a brow at Gogo when she gives him that look. Hey, they're here to help, Hiro, not get murdered by mind creatures. Glitch steps around though to stand beside the woman to look down at Hiro. ]

Sorry, that's not one of the options. You've got your choice of we're helping you and we're helping you.

Help yourself. I don't care.

[ He tries to swivel away from the both of them. ]

[She reaches for his arm.]

Hey, come on. When have I not had your back?

[This must be what had caused that mood. It hurts to see him like this. Again. Suddenly it wasn't the hospital she was remembering, but that period of time right after Tadashi died. He wouldn't let anyone close for anything. It made her uneasy. They hadn't been the ones to pull him out of that.]

Remember what Baymax said? It's good to rely on friends and family. We're here for you, and that's never going to change.

[ Glitch is the first to say he's not good at this comforting thing, plus, they've only been friends here. Glitch still knows little to the life Hiro lived before, so he lets Gogo say her piece. It's when she's done he decides he can add something without setting the room metaphorically on fire. ]

Helping ourselves means helping you. So, kind of contradictory.

She's right though.

[ He hesitates a little at that, the words making an impact. He does remember their help very fondly... ]

I still don't know where to look. This is just where all his memories live.

[She let's herself hope that they can get through to him.]

... Fine. If you really want to.

[ He seems unsure. ]

Yes, we reeeeeally do. Now spill. What are we looking for?

A couple months ago, there was this ice storm. A shard landed in here too.

[ Sure enough, a couple slots are taken up by ice now. ]

[maglevflash]

[Another glance at Glitch. Guess the ice really was the key to all of this.]

So we find the shard? Where have you already looked?

[She's getting up and holding out her hand to Hiro.]

[ He's repressing the "I told you so" look right now, not really the time.

He turns to the ice that just suddenly formed and looked at it. ]

Already got a bad feeling about this.

[ Don't mind him he's just going to peer into more of the slots, see if there's some kind of draft, or if there's some larger fragment hidden. ]

[microbrobotics]

[ It seems to just be two small shards. One stuffed into the memory side, the other on the relationship side. Hiro, meanwhile, reluctantly takes Gogo's hand. ]

They're in with the rest of the memories.

Then let's go get them.

[She pulls him up and into a quick hug, before moving to join Glitch, still holding Hiro's hand reassuringly.]

You said you did this before already? What happened?

[glitchinthesystem]

[ With Gogo having Hiro covered, Glitch tries to think back on what happened what felt like hours ago. ]

Well...I found Hiro, except, tinier [ making a gesture to give a relative height. ]

And we just went through this tiny door with a piece of ice in it and through it was this huge hall on fire with this freaking huge chunk of ice on the ground. We got down there and made our way to the thing but than a huge ass robot and-

[ he stops for only a second. Right...Torch appeared too. But, no time to focus on that. ]

a girl appeared saying she was going to help us get away. It seemed too convient and well, not where we needed to go. [ He then points to Hiro]

She was pretty insistent to take him away and leave me there to do what needed to be done, but it was sketchy and when I refused she just transformed into freaky ice bitch. After that, well, we just bolted past the robot, that thing and robot protector guy fought and basically grabbed that chunk. When we did that, the thing just stopped, like it was waiting for us to tell it what to do, but than we smashed the chunk and it died.

[ he shrugs his shoulders. ]

That's all there is to it.

[ Hiro leans into that hug uncertainly. But it seems to be enough to get him to trust them, at least; he gestures to the ice shard stuck in the relationship side of the room. ]

There. That one.

[maglevflash]

Well, I guess one of us has to break the ice.

[Not even close to being funny. But she goes to inspect the shard a little closer, not touching it just yet. If it's evil of some kind, then she doesn't want to set off the trap without knowing more about what it'll effect.]

[microbrobotics]

[ It's a fine, sharp shard of ice, almost like a blade that's been removed from its handle and stuck in here. Behind it, something black and dark roils. Surely removing the ice would allow that mass to escape... ] ]

[ He comes over to Gogo to get a look at what she's seeing. The shard definitely looks like it'll hurt if grabbed by a bare hand and that black mass back there doesn't give him any reassurances. He looks to the two of them, pulling off his hoodie to wrap it around his hand. ]

I'm gonna pull it. Get ready for anything. [ He reaches out with his covered hand and seizes the mass of ice and starts to pull it free. ]
