WHO: Red and Inanna.
WHERE: Various places.
WHEN: Mid-march.
WHAT: Red is going to buy some real estate and asked Inanna to tag along while she looks at places.
WARNINGS: Probably not?
Red had been planning this for a while. Or had been wanting to plan this for a while, anyway. But after the money she'd been given for helping out during the blackout, and some research into how banks lent to imports, she finally thought this was the right moment.
Time to try and open a music club.
It was a big decision, she knew. But she had to...connect again, to the industry. And without her voice, well, she wasn't going to get through the door like she had back in Cloudbank. Which meant trying for a purely instrumental career (eh), writing music for other people to sing (maybe) or creating a place where people could come and sing (better.)
Of course, she didn't actually know much about, well, the business side of music. She mostly just showed up and sang, really. So she'd been doing a lot of research, and had managed the first step, which was a vague business plan and a few possible locations.
So, today was the day she handled at least one of those. Time to find some real estate.
But a bit of backup wouldn't hurt, right? Which was why she'd reached out to Inanna. The pantheon singer had to know more about this stuff than she did, which was a weird thought but...still felt right.
And so she was waiting for him outside of the first place she wanted to look at, idling flipping through her phone.

"Sorry," they offer. "I hope I haven't kept you waiting for too long."

'It's fine,' the little device said. 'I am mostly just trying not to let myself get nervous.'

She had looked at several places before, alone, and had basically felt like she were being bullied into buying them. But she hadn't let that stand, of course. Still, backup was nice.
'Thank you, though. So this first one might be a little too small for what I'm thinking.' More typing. 'But it's very cute.'

"How big a place do you think you'll need?"
