[ He looks up at Erik with a little smile. He didn't know what he wanted from Erik, exactly (advice? commiseration? just someone to talk to so that all of this wasn't rattling around inside his own head, driving him nuts?), but this is the kind of outcome he can live with. He still doesn't feel great about all that's happened, but he feels a little better anyway, a little bit of that tension unknotting from his shoulders. Spending days with people in horrible emotional states, chasing after a ghost, unable to contact anyone he's actually friends with to get all of that discomfort off his chest - that'll take a toll on anyone.
He'll still worry, but here, he can at least try to get back to normal - and sharpen up his techniques for when he inevitably has to go back. ]
