While the cat didn't always play nice with others, Karen had very little patience these days toward anyone who dared to utter one negative thing about him. After a loud and tiresome fight with Hooded Justice (and Nelson), she was ready to leap to the cat's defense, and of course, her own.
"Good," she smiled, pleased as punch. "Then we won't have a problem."

"Is he?" Karen looked back at the cat, who began to walk away, down the hall to where her room was. "There's also a dog, but you don't have to worry about him either."
