[ He hurries to go set out the food. ]

[ Oops, did Viktor short-circuit Yuuri there. Ah well, it's still cute. He helps with the rest of setting out their dinner, setting the pirozhkis in the center of it all. ]

[With the pda and discussion of russian terms behind them now, Yuri is much calmer. He sits down and grabs a pirozhki for himself while Yuuri is setting out the food he made.]

[ Yuuri gladly ladles out bowls for all of them. ]

I hope it's all right. It's my first time making it.

[ Viktor blinks and actually pauses in the middle of taking his bowl from Yuuri. ]

... You made this? I thought Yura did.

No, I only made the pirozhkis.

Yeah, the stew is mine.

[ He looks to Yuri, hand and bowl still paused mid-air. ]

Did you tell him about zharkoye then?

I didn't say anything to him. He started making it on his own.

It just seemed like a good recipe to try?

[ Then for some reason Viktor's cheek flush a bit?? He finally puts his bowl down in front of him, wearing that almost embarrassed expression he gets when someone has truly surprised him. ]

Ah ... it is a good recipe. It's actually my favorite.

Are you going to make that face the whole time you're eating it?

Really! I was hoping to find a restaurant that made it so you could have it too.

[ And he retaliates against Yuri by taking the cat-shaped pirozhki. ]

[Rude!! Yurio counters by taking the poodle-shaped one and promptly putting a bite in its face.]

Oh ... I guess I lucked out, then. It won't be as good as a restaurant, but I hope it's all right anyway.

[ He takes the pig-shaped pirozhki. ]

Are you kidding? I bet it would taste better than a restaurant's.

[ He leaves the pirozhki for now to sample the stew first, and his eyes brighten immediately. ]

You'd probably like it no matter what.

[But he takes a bite of the stew too and makes a soft, pleased sound.]

...It is good though.

[Yuri is also wolfing food down now that he's decided it's good, albeit slightly slower than Viktor.]
