[ She thinks about her first few weeks here. It was so lonely she thought it would kill her. With no purpose or friends, it seemed like she would simply slide into despair again. When he came, understanding already the isolation and hopelessness of Hades it was just enough rope to hang on to. The extra breath that let her make her way to the surface. That he's put his faith in her, even understanding what she is, helped her face this strange world that would never come close. He was family that she didn't know she had, at a time when that meant everything. He was brave and loyal and steadfast and more than she deserved, but made her want to be what he deserved.
