"Everyone with sense is anti-socialism," he replies, his syllables clipped. In truth, he feels a bit ambivalent about it - it's a really nice idea, but any close look at the numbers indicates that it's probably not a very workable system. He guesses that it's nice that there are people out there who are fighting for it, though.
