WHERE: probably Endou's house (Heropa)

WHAT: they're trying on each other's clothes in preparation for Halloween!
WARNINGS: too much orange energy (none!)

[If there would be anybody not enthused by their costume this year? It would be Kidou. But it would be a completely harmless costume! Ken's not worried about it in the least. Kidou handles the rambunctious boys of Nonah Middle School every day... a combination of Ken and Endou for a single day won't be too bad. Right?

Anyway, there's no stopping these orange boys once they set their minds on something, and that something this time around is dressing up as each other for Halloween. Ken doesn't take long to arrive at Heropa at all, hopping down on the front steps of Endou's government housing building after a few minutes of traveling and a ring of the doorbell. Instead of wearing his orange hoodie he's already taken it off, hanging it and his black blazer over his arm. The red SEES armband is already attached to the sleeve of the latter... and that's pretty much all that Endou would need, really.]

I'm here, Endou-kun!

[Lets be honest with ourselves, Kidou isn't going to know what to do with these two after this.

It's hard to miss the sound of Endou running towards the door, his bright and cheerful demeanor could almost be felt before he even opened it. He's not wearing his usual attire either, dressed down in a normal white shirt and a pair of shorts.]

Come in, Ken.

[The door opens fully for Ken to come inside.]

I have almost everything for your costume ready, just trying to find my Captain's band.

[Ken doesn't even hesitate. It would be hard to believe that only a year ago, he was more reserved and shy around friendship. Now, he's all smiles as he kicks off his shoes and steps up into the house.]

Do you need help looking for it? I wouldn't be you without it!

That'd be great! I could have sworn I left it with everything, but when I went to gather everything together for you, it was missing.

[He leads Ken a bit further in.]

Everything is up in my room, so starting there is probably our best bet.

Ah, yeah, that's pretty likely. If you left it anywhere else it's likely with one of us -- Gran or Kidou-kun, I mean, since we play together usually. Let's look.

Where's your room at?

[Endou moves towards the staircase leading to the second landing and up to his room. The room itself is still a bit bare, beyond the essentials, he hasn't had time to find much in the way of stuff yet. There is a half eaten box of soccer ball shaped cookies sitting on his dresser, next to a spot where his mitts lie, along with a soccer ball and a notebook that looks relatively new. His personal soccer shrine. Just because he doesn't have the essentials, doesn't mean he can't make it look the part, right?

On his bed is his uniform, each piece neatly laid out.]

... This is nostalgic, in a way.

[He saw it with Gran, and he saw it with Kidou, too. He remembers back when his own room used to look like this before he started getting it filled with gifts, mementos from friendships he gained here, ones he still had and ones that had Ported out both. With time, empty pages fill out. He smiles at the sight despite the current barren look.]

When's the last time you remember having it?

Well I know I had it yesterday when I was practicing with Kidou...

[Endou rubs at his chin thoughtfully.]

I'm not sure where else I'd have it though, I'm pretty sure I brought it home with the rest of my things....
