WHO: Satan and Lucifer
WHERE: Prison
WHEN: Afternoon of 9th June
WHAT: Lucifer and Satan walk into a prison bar
WARNINGS: Devils and blasphemy and destruction of mankind. Nobody wants these two assholes together

[ Getting information from the assholes over the network about how certain things went down is like pulling teeth. Specifically what happened with a guy named Lucifer; he fucked few things up, he got arrested, his powers were taken away (or repressed), yes, Satan knows all of that. But he doesn't care about the biased answers of some idiots that all they will say is "It was a shitstorm". He wants details, what happened and how it happened and apparently the only way of getting those, without being too suspicious, is by going directly to the source.

Going inside the prison when you hold the name "Satan" and asking to see someone named "Lucifer" - that would probably be enough to light up few red lights but the guards were strangely cooperative, aside from repeating several times that Satan's powers would not work. Maybe people in this world don't believe in things like God, Devil, Demons and Angels or they simply assume those aren't problematic.

Let them think that. They'd regret it, sooner or later.

The only one of Satan's powers that still works in prison, is being allowed to keep his "Ryo Asuka" body. He supposes nobody wants a naked hermaphroditic angel prancing around prison with his twelve wings, so Satan can shape-shift into the blond boy in his late teens, wearing a white suite and a black cross on a string around his neck (mostly for irony). And said boy is lead towards the visitor's room, where he waits patiently.

It really is a shame they managed to capture Lucifer. Hopefully he is released soon... or someone breaks him out of there. ]

[Hearing that he has a visitor named Satan doesn't do much to perk up Lucifer's interest. Humans are not a creative bunch and his few interactions with the normal inmates has only served as proof that humanity deserves nothing more than complete annihilation.

But he allows himself to be directed to the visitor's room all the same, and it's only when he sees who it is calling himself Satan than his interest is caught. If that boy is a normal human, then so is Lucifer.

He takes a seat without speaking, waiting to hear what this Satan has to say.]

[ Satan (Ryo. His name is Ryo right now) watches Lucifer approaching and taking his seat. He too doesn't say anything, not yet. For now he watches him in silence, hands resting on his lap and a rather neutral expression on his face.

He is watching, analyzing. He looks human (so does Ryo). But even if he looks human, there is little human about him.

And that makes Ryo finally smile. ] Aren't you such a handsome Devil. [ c'mon, he had to say it, even if Ryo cares little about appearances. Only to break the ice ]

Ryo Asuka [ finally he introduces himself ] Or- whatever you want to call me. But not Lucifer, I haven't kept that name. You are still using it, though. [ no judgment there ]

I heard you made a mess, when you arrived. [ Ryo smiles wide ]

[It's not the first time Lucifer has wished for his powers back, but this is the closest to anger he's felt at being denied his access to the world unseen. Looking at this creature with his eyes can only tell him so much- a glimpse at this Satan's spiritual power would verify his claim for certain.

He doesn't return the smile, and that in itself speaks highly for this Ryo. Any smile he has to give would be nothing more than a facade. He tilts his head thoughtfully instead, giving the creature his full attention.]

Ryo, then. I prefer Lucifer, myself. Where I'm from the other titles were all thought up by humans, looking for someone to blame. [It's not an excuse, but just something to fill in a moment while he decides how much he's going to be willing to share.]

You heard right.

Humans often do that. They can say whatever they want. [ it makes no difference, in the end. It never did. It was never about them, no matter what their book said and no matter what they thought. ]

I would ask others what happened, but I preferred to hear an unbiased description of the events. Not to mention, I'm sure you'd know better.

[ but before that, he feels that he needs to talk things over a bit ]

Though our powers were taken away, you can tell I'm not really a teenager human boy. [ not a question. Statement. Satan is certain that Lucifer is nor useless or an idiot. Ryo's expression darkens and he leans forward; not enough that the guards would intervene but close enough so that Lucifer could see the other Devil frown ] I am a version of you, I'm willing to accept that much. Maybe not under the same Father, or maybe He is the same. I care little for that.

[Of course- he wants information too. A number of semi-supernatural beings had come calling on Lucifer since his imprisonment, wanting to know just what had gone wrong. He had sent them all away with various pieces of information, but no one had yet received the whole story.

Would he give another version of himself the whole truth? He'd have to wait and see.]

How did things turn out, in your world?

[ Satan would never give Lucifer the full extent of what happened. He'd tell him parts, the most important ones. The ones that would matter angels and demons and god, but not the parts that would matter to Satan himself, like Akira. ]

I killed all the humans during a war that lasted twenty years. [ he imagines that part matters to Lucifer ] Father waited until me and the demons were done and then He attacked us with His holy army. We were slaughtered.

[ he is not lying. Just omitting a HUGE chunk of it. ]

I was sent to Hell and I decided to stay there for a while [ 4 billion years ], to plan on what to do next. I had just gotten out of Hell to reclaim back the Earth when I was sent here. [ he frowns, leaning back in his chair. Being sent to this world was not the plan and though Satan is sure he could get out soon, it's still a pain in the ass.

And yes, Lucifer can get out of Hell whenever he pleases, even if it's meant to be "his prison". ]

[Lucifer nods, seemingly impressed by his claims to ending humanity. Interesting that he had to do it twice; that reeks of heavenly meddling. ]

And now you'd like to know if skipping home will be as easy as jumping back out of hell.

In a way. But it seems nothing is working and I'm ready to go back to Hell. [ at least he knows where to go from there ]

Jumping out of Hell is easy. [ no, really. it is. ] But it seems getting back in is hard, in this place. Who'd thought. [ how ironic ] I have tried all the crappy magic rituals, from Hindu to voodoo. All there is left is to grab a couple of Satanic kids and try a Black Sabbath. [ he says this sarcastically, but actually he may try it ]

The portal you opened, was it really to Hell or somewhere else?
