there aren't any songs about minigolf
WHO: the Doctor & Kitty Jones
WHERE: everybody's favorite minigolf center & arcade, The Fun Zone.
WHEN: backdated to some Saturday
WHAT: Kitty Jones learns the concept of a mental health day
WARNINGS: goofy shit.
The Doctor's shown up a few minutes before the appointed time. And man, he's already pumped for a good time. Time to teach Kitty the concept of a mental health day...while also playing minigolf. He's not going to lie that a good half of this mental health day is because he wants to subject someone to minigolf who's not likely to cheat (so not Hazel), won't be underwhelmed by minigolf compared to their normal shenanigans (so not Clara), and probably knows what minigolf is to begin with (so not Saint Walker).
Combining Mental Health Day 101 with a game of minigolf made perfect sense in the Doctor's mind! And maybe afterwards they could play darts or something like that. Not laser tag, the Doctor just doesn't get laser tag. Maybe the arcade's got skee ball?
As Kitty approaches, the Doctor gives her a little wave and a large grin. He's dressed more casually than normally: hoodie over a light sweater, sunglasses acting more sunglasses than sonic right now.
"Perfect! I've gone ahead and booked us a game—dibs on the red ball, by the way. Shall we?"
