"We're not just going to- to auction you off like some bit of livestock. Even putting aside how awful that is to even consider.."
He broke off a moment to turn onto another street. "I mean, who knows what sort of trouble that could lead to? Do you even know how all of those supposed properties work, or any ideas as to how you'd possibly go about brokering such a deal?"
He shuddered. "No, if we need funds that badly, I could look into a military contract. Build a bit of tech- not Jaegers obviously, but my drones would be of interest, I'm sure.."
