[closed] what happens when you poke a vampire hard enough?
WHO: Nike Lemercier & Mika Hyakuya
WHERE: Heropa
WHEN: August 9
WHAT: Nike bumps into the angry not!glowing teen vampire to give him a piece of her mind. Mostly a continuation of this thread.
WARNINGS: For now, none.
[The summer was beginning to end. It was a thought Nike had after noticing that Yuu wasn't home this morning. She was so used to walking with him to work or having breakfast with him this summer that she had forgotten about him returning to classes. That is until she went over to his house to find it both silent and empty. A small sigh will escape her lips as she heads over in the same road he would take to school. It was a little lonesome to not see him especially when she has been taking double shifts at work almost non-stop every day. It almost feels like she wasted her precious summer when she could have used it to spend time with her friends.
Whatever the case, she had a break today, at the very least. She could just visit Yuu later. Maybe even invite him to the video arcade to make it up for him. Not really thinking he may have any other plans. He usually didn't.]
Maybe I should surprise him after school. I know he has work, but he may appreciate a lunch box though. Yuu loves to eat as much as I do.
[All said out loud without thinking too much about it.]
...I do wonder if he is doing well. I shouldn't have wasted my time with that pretty boy. Although he did say some ominous things... [She wanted to chase after him too. If he hadn't left, she would have told him a few truths to debunk him.] I kinda wish I did chase after him. I would have told him off and taught him some proper manners!
[There will be a loud sigh as she stretches her arms out a bit.]
Regardless, I wish I knew if he is adjusting to everything. Rude or not, I did feel....he isn't as bad as he was letting on. He was another Kagami except with a better face. [A pause.] I should have asked for his name. Why didn't I?

Mika was glad that he'd lost the annoying woman who kept calling him a prince and once he was sure she hadn't followed him up onto the roofs, started the journey back to Yuu's house. That was enough adventure and exploring for one afternoon.
Dropping back down on the sidewalk to continue his return trip is exactly how he manages to cross paths with the woman for the second time in a single day. He hears her before he sees her. Mostly because he hadn't been on the lookout for her to begin with.
By the time he's able to pick up her voice she's talking about chasing him. Mika's head shoots up to look for her and spots her directly in his path. The sidewalk by the residental area isn't nearly as crowded as the ones next to the shops so there isn't really a lot of people he can duck behind.]
Damn.
[The curse is spoken loudly before he even has the chance to think about it. Surely she'll notice that.]

When Nike notices the gorgeous blond hair and white uniform, she was almost looking a little shock to have already found him again.]
Huh? Are you like...that one legend? About how if I say your name enough times, then you'll appear like magic?
[Although she has no idea what his name is, she couldn't help find his timing as she was thinking about him a little too coincidental to be true. Was Heropa answering her tiny curious prayer? Without thinking about it, Nike will walk up to him with a bigger smile on her lips.]
Magic or not, I'm glad to see you again. With the way things ended last time, it was hard not to worry about you, you know! Have you found everything you need or were looking for?

I don't know what you're talking about. It's natural to be somewhere that might be where I live.
[Technically he has a room in Nonah but this is where Yuu is so that automatically means that Mika is here too. As she walks up to him, he walks past her.]
Worrying about a stranger you just met? That's extremely foolish. That's how people end up hurt or worse.

Ah, then you haven't heard about urban legends, huh? I was referencing one of those, you know.
[The moment he begins to walk past her as she heads his way, Nike will freeze as she turns around, watching him for a bit. There may be a small frown until his words catch her attention.]
Oh, right, you did admit to being a killer the last time we've met, didn't you?
[Without thinking about it twice, Nike will begin to follow after him with a small smile forming.]
There's no need to worry about that. I like worrying about other people. You can even say, it is my duty to. To worry, to care; no matter if they are a stranger or not. [A brief pause.] It's the same for you, isn't it? I mean, I have a feeling you're actually a caring person deep down.
