She holds her glass a little tighter at the stem and brings her purse a little closer as she thinks about them. Because god does it hurt, back home it had been worse, the incident had happened a few years ago, but it was still 'not too long ago' in her mind and hard to just move from. They had been a team together, she'd come to see them as her family of misfits and heroes. Angela nods once, acknowledging what he had said, and as a way to bring herself out of her thoughts.
"Thank you." And she clears her throat and finishes off her drink. She could see the pain in him and knew she wasn't the only one but she didn't want to simply ask him if that was why he looked so glum when she walked up to him.
