A - Nonah #001 [residents and close CR]

[Getting ready is a long winded process that takes place throughout the house involving a bottle of vodka, several changes in clothes, and far more cologne than could ever be considered reasonable. His record is blaring new wave and punk anthems far too loud and he may be hogging the bathroom while he applies his make up.

All in all, he's not being a brilliant housemate tonight. He's not exactly sorry for it.]

B - Various Nonah Clubs & Bars [OTA]

[There are several bars in Nonah, and while Felix tends to favour the more alternative he hasn't limited himself to them. His goal for the night is absolutely quantity over quality, and he can be found in any type of establishment from the seediest to... average reputations. Maybe he's on the dance floor, or maybe he's surrounded by shots at the bar. Either way, there isn't much time where he can be found doing nothing.]

[Alison lurks outside of the bathroom, fingers planted firmly in her ears. It's Felix's birthday so she's doing her best not to nag about everything, but she'll be surprised if the neighbours don't make some kind of noise complaint soon.]

Felix, for the last time, your make-up and outfit are fine!

[Alison tries to glance at her watch without unplugging her ears. She probably shouldn't even be coming along; clubs and bars are definitely not the kind of environments a recovered alcoholic should be in. But she's not exactly at risk of "falling off the wagon", and she could probably use a night of "letting her hair down". Literally. Although she's almost regretting not putting her hair up into her trademark ponytail already.]

[Felix has the door open, which makes turning to frown disapprovingly easy. He steps away from the mirror, pulling up the top over his head. This is not the one.]

For the last time, I'm trying to look better than fine.

[He starts to push past her, then stops, holding the rejected top up to her thoughtfully.]

Maybe you should wear this one.

[Alison takes a good look at the offered top and blanches.]

What? No, that's... I'm happy with my outfit as is.

[ Sarah strolls into Nonah 001, bottle of red wine in hand, like she owns the place. As far as she's concerned, she might as well. Any home of Felix's is a place she's absolutely comfortable barging into.

She knows that by all reason this should be more awkward. Maybe other siblings would want to talk things out, or at least acknowledge, that they've barely spoken in almost two months. But that's not how she and Felix do things. ]

Happy birthday, little brother. How old are you now?

[Felix gives her an offended look, but takes it back, stalking off into his room instead.]

What happened to it being fine?

[Honestly, it's a relief when she does show up. Part of him had been nervous she wouldn't, and then the fight would have just continued. Maybe it would have got worse, if that were possible. But he's missed his sister, and that's the last thing he'd wanted. If anything he's glad he's been provided with an excuse to spend time with her again. Felix takes the wine, carrying it off into the kitchen so he can pour it into glasses for them.]

You can't even remember? You must be getting old. Sure you're up to this?

The day I'm not up for this is the day they roll me into the grave.

[ She follows him to the kitchen, leaning back against the wall and watching him pour their glasses. It feels a little strange being at Felix's place but not being at the loft. ]

You oughta paint a cock on the wall in here. Liven it up a bit.

[She follows after him, half to try and placate him, and half in a desperate attempt to keep him on schedule.]

It's fine for you. I could never pull that off.

[Cosima arrives 15 minutes later than their agreed upon meeting time, knocking on the door loudly to be heard over the blaring music. When she's let inside, she brings along with her an armful of clothes. Her hair and eye makeup are perfect, but she's clearly not yet dressed for the night out.]

Felix. I need your help, man.

You could. I've seen Sarah in it.

You'd fit in a lot better in this than what you're wearing now.

Shared living space. I do try to be considerate.

[He says like he hasn't left his rejected underwear choices lying all over the couch.]

There is one in my room. I'll show you when I'm finding a shirt that actually looks half way decent.

Finally.

[Felix isn't exactly ready himself, but he can still be indignant about it.]

All right. It's fine. Don't worry. Let's go upstairs. I think I might need your help too.

[And now it's her turn to give him an offended look.]

What's wrong with what I'm wearing?

[Oh, good. Now it's his turn to try and placate her.]

Nothing. Just... let's just say the places we're going aren't exactly your usual scene.

And how many times have you changed already?

[ Because she knows him, and she knows this isn't his first outfit change. ]

I am well aware of that, Felix. But I have no intention of dressing up as anyone but myself tonight.

[The last thing she wants is to be mistaken for Sarah.]

[He considers her for a long moment, but sighs, giving it up. She's right, and he can see she's made some effort. At the very least she doesn't have in that ponytail.]

Fine. You can still help me choose something. Do you think these jeans are all right? I can't decide whether going tighter would make my arse look better or worse.

I don't know. A few?

[He hasn't exactly been keeping track. He shrugs, pouring out a glass of wine for each of them.]

Sounds about right.

[ She takes a glass of wine from him and tips it toward his own. ] Well, cheers.

[She considers him with a critical eye, cocking her head ever-so-slightly to the side as she lays a finger against her cheek.]

Maybe a little tighter. But too much and you might start getting a flattening effect instead.

[He peers around himself. He can't see as well as she can, but she might have a point.]

Tighter it is then.

[He's wriggling out of them already, though he does have some ideas for a replacement pair.]

Well, it is my birthday. I can't go out in just anything.

[He taps his own glass against hers, immediately knocking back half of it after.]

[She immediately turns around so she's not watching him undress. This is why she almost always calls ahead before coming to see Felix, although that doesn't exactly guarantee that he'll be fully clothed when she arrives anyway.]

I just want to remind you that if we don't leave soon, we're going to have to stand in line.

Darling. Between the two of us we have the ability appeal to bouncers of any sexuality. So long as I pretty myself up enough we aren't going to be standing in line no matter what time we leave at.

[He doesn't pay much attention to her looking away or try and hurry himself up. He has no issue taking his clothes off around her and it's not like he hasn't got underwear on. He grabs a couple of options from the mess on his bed, holding them up in front of him.]

[This is clearly not a battle she's going to be winning. She goes from staring at the wall to scrutinizing her meticulous pedicure.]

Well, at least I had the foresight not to book any meetings for the morning.

[Like any normal person, she needs at least eight hours of proper sleep.]
