Well, Ken's been trying to get me to work at the Middle School. Apparently their baseball coach just left and he's seeing it as some kinda...destiny. [Not that Junpei believes it TOO or anything. He may or may not have ran out to get that application the moment he heard about it.]

I think he just wants free lunch off the school grounds, but hey, I'm not gonna judge. I'd do the same thing.

[But the idea o playing in the big leagues with an actual American team? Talk about a dream situation...He won't even lie, he's dreamed about it before, only with Japan's very own major league team.

His mind drifts off to that for a second, getting lost in his own thoughts before he realizes that Jaime's still speaking. Thoughts cutting immediately short when Jaime says it's his dad he respects most.

In a way, he's morbidly curious. His own dad left a lot to be desired, and the only real fatherly figure they all had turned out to be a traitor. Mitsuru had her father, and he was the best influence the team could have--but...that was also cut short. It's not exactly jealousy that rises, but more wishful thought.]

Heh, well...guess it depends on how bad their jokes are, right?
