Petyr looked at Mitch for a long moment before he answered, simply: "Yes, as a matter of fact. I have." He saw no harm in his confession. If anything, it showed Mitch he was a more progressive thinker for his time period. "I have always been dissatisfied with the system as it is. A man cannot do freely what he wishes to do unless he has beneath his belt the proper titles and land. I was born a noble man, but of a lower class. And because of such, I was not allowed the opportunity to marry the woman of my choosing because she as of a higher birth."
There was a momentary pause before he continued. "My world is at war. Alliances are severing daily. The old ways are beginning to erode. But in this chaos, there is opportunity. And I have taken it upon myself to ensure Westeros sees a change for the better. Perhaps at the end of it, we will establish a system similar to this one. And it is a shame, really, that I cannot take what I learn from this world back to my home."
