She's there for explanations and exposition, laptop open to the live feed transmitted directly from the group's A-T themselves. Ground speed, total wall ride height, most-used tricks . . . all the data is fresh for the demonstration, showcasing far more of the general potential of the technology rather than the monstrous potential of its users. ]
. . . and that jump, there—rotating midair and shifting his centre of gravity lets Kazu-kun go farther. For jumps, it's one of the most basic tricks: "Moonride".

[ This . . . this feels almost like home. There's no A-T parts or memorabilia, but the rest . . . she bypasses posters to flip through sketchbooks, looking for familiar faces. Members of Kogarasumaru, residents of N5, permanent and semi-permanent guests of N5, Komasan's housemates, Riku and Mewtwo, Naruto and Mr. Miles . . .
She's collected a small folder of prints near the end. Somehow . . . they feel more real than photographs. ]

[ She's not really one for dancing, but the music . . . the music is far too much of a draw, to say nothing of finding out that there's a band inspired by Ikki's team.
An excited conversation backstage leads to a brief practice run, and she ends up joining the Roller Blade Bunnies onstage for their second set—back to back with their keyboardist, fingers dancing over the synthesizers as if they'd always belonged there. At a nudge and a wink from her partner, she joins in with the background vocals too, weaving her harmonies into the band's melodies.
It's fun. It's so fun, and it's over far too soon . . iced tea in hand, she goes back to leaning against the wall, foot tapping to the beat as she wipes the last few drops of perspiration from her forehead.
No one ever mentioned that those lights were so hot. ]
