WHAT: Skye Daisy returns to Heropa and is getting used to this place again.
WARNINGS: None right now. Will edit if needed.

[Daisy returned after being back home for 3 months. She had yet to learn it had only been a day here since she left. Waking up after getting a car accident to be back in this place was a little disorientating to say the least. Her thoughts were on that Inhuman she swore she had seen transform from beast back to human as she was driving back to her house in Heropa.

She looked worse for wear and was in a rather interesting suit that had been created for her thanks to Fitz. The first thing she did when she got home was go to her room and go directly onto the network to try and put everything together.

Getting back into the grove of things was a little hard, considering so much in her life back home had changed. Still, it was a lot easier to adjust than it had been the last time. At least this time she could remember this place and the people in it. She was out and about in the town, a lot of time spent at the local diner because Daisy could not stand quiet. That's another thing she has to get used to, people still calling her Skye when they recognized her. Which was fair because how would they know any better?

Honestly Daisy isn't hiding, it's pretty easy to find her out and about around Heropa.]

[Just as he promised, he arrives five minutes after his last message. Without bothering to knock, he rushes into the house and makes a beeline for the living room. There's only a moment's pause when he catches sight of her - how different she looks, how much time must have passed - before her injuries take his full attention.]

How'd this happen? Why didn't you call me?

[Sitting up straighter when he entered the living room, Daisy was very much expecting him to stare at her once he noticed what she looked like now.]

Hello to you too.

[Daisy mumbled to herself.]

Because I didn't want you to worry like you are right now.

I got in a car accident.

[Daisy rolled her eyes and gave a slight shake of her head.]

It's a long story.

Okay, for the record? I get about a hundred times more worried finding out about something like this on the network. And even if you didn't want me to take care of it, you should be in a hospital right now. This isn't - You can't just mess around with a head injury, Skye.

[Of course, nothing to do now but check out the damage himself. The blood's not even cleaned up, so clearly no one else has taken a look at her. And she almost certainly has a concussion. No one was even here to monitor her!]

[She said it out of habit. Coulson constantly kept calling her by Skye still. When she realized who she said it to, she explained.]

I go by Daisy now. It's my actual name. I found out a lot when I went back home.

[Daisy had gotten so used to not having someone who could heal her at home that she doesn't automatically agree to it. She remembered being hesitant when she was here too.]

I'll be fine. I just need to take a shower.

[If she seems a little distant, it's because she is. She still isn't sure how long it's been since she left. So much had happened to her back home.]

Do you know how long I've been gone? Because I can't seem to get an answer from anyone.

[Yikes. Yeah, the chilly atmosphere doesn't escape him. He immediately - physically - backs off, retreating a step even though he'd rather keep examining her.]

...Daisy. Sorry.

It, um, couldn't be more than a day. You were just here. We didn't talk yesterday, but I didn't think you went missing or anything.

It's fine. It's taken Coulson a few months to get used to calling me that.

[There's a small smile that tugs at her lips in amusement. Although it quickly fades away when he mentions how she had just been here.]

A day? I was gone one day and I went back home for three months?

It happens, yeah.

[He wrings his hands, holding himself back from fussing over her.]

I, uh... I like what you did with your hair.

[It's probably cute when there's no blood in it.]

[There's a smile again. This time it reaches her eyes.]

Yeah? Thanks. I like it too. Gets in the way a lot less.

[Which is partially why she did it.]

Thanks. For checking up on me.

[The way he's just standing there was bugging her a little. So she made herself useful and got up off the couch and masked her wince by turning away from him to head into the kitchen to grab a paper towel so she could wet it and clean off the dried blood that had settled at her jawline.]

Kind of weird to wake back up here again. I didn't remember anything about this place until I got back here.

[He follows after her, though not too close. Not close enough to crowd her in.]

Yeah, it's weird how that happens. Like when you wake up and can't remember your dream.

...You sure you don't want me to take care of that?

[It seriously looks like it hurts. And it'll probably hurt more in a couple hours, the way car accidents always do.]

[Wetting the paper towel, Daisy turned to him as she began to wipe away the dry blood.]

I'll be fine. I didn't have you back home to heal me every time it got hurt.

[Daisy smiles a little for his benefit.]

Although since you're here you mind getting this? I can't really see what I'm doing.

I know you're a total badass on your own, but I'm here now.

[He takes the paper towel and sets to dabbing gently at the blood. Just looking at it is making him wince.]

[Daisy lets out a snort when he calls her a badass. Watching his face as he cleaned off the side of her face.]

[Alison at least has the courtesy to knock instead of bursting into her room with her makeshift first-aid kit.]

Skye? Is everything okay? I saw your video on the network...

[Skye. Great. She would have to go over this whole new name thing with everyone here. She lets it go for now though as she finally speaks up from her spot on the bed.]

Yeah. I'm fine. Just didn't expect to come back here.

[And because it's awkward to speak through a closed door, Daisy spoke up.]

You can come in if you want.

[She opens the door a bit tentatively.]

What happened? You looked like you were injured so I--

[She lets out a bit of an involuntary gasp when she sees how Skye looks in person.]

[Daisy isn't sure if the gasp is over the fact that she probably looked terrible, or the fact that there is some blood now on the bed.]

...So you...?

... I brought my first-aid kit, but I really think you should consider going to the hospital, Skye. What on earth did you do?!

[She sets her first-aid kit down and rummages through it, looking for antiseptic wipes and gauze.]

[Is this what it felt like when your mom scolded you as a kid?]

Alison, I'm fine.

[If by fine she meant her head hurt and there's a slight chance she had a concussion and bruised ribs fine...]

Really, thank you, but you don't have to worry about me. I've dealt with a lot worse than this.

Okay, what is going on? First you're hardly ever around and then you show up looking like you've been in some sort of fight or accident! This can't be healthy!

[And Alison is going to stubbornly continue on her mission to patch Skye up.]

[Not the conversation she was expecting to have right now. Hardly ever around? Daisy tried to piece together how long she could've been gone, and when they had last seen each other?]

What month is it?

[Because that answers all of Alison's own questions.]

[She speaks curtly:]

It's March. Look, maybe we should start having weekly house meetings so we can all keep tabs on each other. I know my work has been keeping me just as busy as whatever it is you have going on, but it shouldn't be an excuse.

[March? ...March. Daisy clearly zoned out a little as she tried to figure out dates. It hadn't been March at home. It was around October.

Daisy heard the last of what Alison was saying but it wasn't hard to fill in the blanks of what she had missed. Shit, did she not realize she had left?]

You know I went back home, right?

And we should-- ... wait, you what?

[That makes her pause at her attempt to clean some of the blood off Skye's hair.]

[Are you sure you're not the one with the blow to the head, Alison?]

Yeah. I thought the hair and suit made that pretty obvious. And, you know, asking how long I've been gone.

[She bristles a little bit.]

Well, I didn't actually sit and watch the entire video... [Mostly because she had grabbed her first-aid kit and came straight to Skye's room.]

Also, a new haircut and outfit doesn't mean the only explanation is that you went home!
