When being a good Samaritan just isn't heroic enough...
WHO: Norman and Athos.
WHERE: Musketeer HQ, I'm guessing.
WHEN: March 10-ish. Probably.
WHAT: Norman decides to walk into the office and sign up to be awesome.
WARNINGS: Idk—is Athos a warning? I'm not even sure.
Since his arrival, Norman has slowly come to question his ability to fulfill his role as Guardian of the Mighty One. So many things have happened, and Mighty Max has... changed. Peter Pan had turned the boy's fears and anger outward, the Soviets brainwashed him... And although Norman had managed to get him debrainwashed with Riku and Sabriel's help, the process involved betraying his charge, who naturally ran off after that.
So Norman can't help questioning the destiny he's been saddled with. Is he truly meant to be Guardian of the Mighty One?
Mulling over his thoughts, Norman has tried to settle into civilian life. He threw himself into work, and then even more work for the Booty Burn Boot Camp, which is great for inspiring people to change their lives for their own health and confidence. But that isn't fulfilling enough for someone like Norman. So he soon sought out opportunities to play the heroic good Samaritan, but it's not easy to come across those by chance or stroke of luck.
In time, he comes across an advertisement for Musketeers Incorporated, which looks pretty legitimate. How interesting would it be for someone with Norman's background and experience to join the Musketeers?
After confirming the office hours, he heads out to De Chima one late afternoon.
"Are the Musketeers still taking recruits?"
