March catchall!
WHO: Bela Talbot and YOU. (Yes, you)
WHERE: Here, there and everywhere.
WHEN: The whole of March.
WHAT: A few closed starters and open prompts. Feel free to make your own though!
WARNINGS: Edit:Warning for allusions to child abuse.
Herodotus Antiques (Maurtia Falls)
[The store was open from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week. But sometimes Bela did work late into the evening to catch up on paperwork and the occasional stock take. January had been a terrible month and February wasn't much better because of the Russian invasion, so Bela was hoping that March would be profitable. As a means of trying to acquire high sales, she slashed a few prices of the items in stock and offered a few deals on others.
When Bela isn't standing behind the counter she can be found at the back of the store in the stockroom. She would be able to hear customers coming in by the small bell above the front door which rang whenever anyone opened it. Despite the poor performance of the previous two months, Bela is in a good mood and ready to greet potential customers when they come in the door.]
Heropa:
[She's house-hunting. For the future anyway. Bela is still short of the cash to make her grand move but at the very least she could find a nice spot to live in. Florida has the advantage of warm weather and attractions, but it also has the disadvantage of really unsettled weather too. Heropa was likely to be at the bottom of Bela's list for cities to live in - even with that in mind, it seemed insensible to rule it out completely.
When Bela isn't trawling through residential areas, she stops for lunch at a cafe and heads to a diner for dinner later. Maybe she'll end up staying the night in Heropa which meant she needed to find a decent hotel. ]
Wildcard! Anything else you want? Drop a comment or send me a PM and we'll work something out :>

[ Raina smirks, painting it in a much more positive light. After all, she finds nothing wrong with it. She's not one of those imPorts who gets offended over stupid things like the whole Debrecen affair. ]
I've been taking some time off from work, honestly. I want to wait until I'm fully recovered before I dive right back into my projects. But that has led me to having far too much free time. I redecorated my apartment in De Chima just to keep myself busy. Not that I stay there that much, but it's handy to have something closer to work if I need it. And now it's extra pretty. I'll have to have you over there sometime.

[ Bela hasn't taken much of a break, nothing more than a day or two ever since the Russian invasion. There was always that thought in the back of her mind that something else would happen and work helped to distract from it.
The silence is broken by a knock at the door, likely their champagne. Bela looks over at Raina. ]
Hold that thought. I think our room service has arrived.

[ Bela is the same type of woman as Raina, after all. But she sits up slowly when room service arrives and waits for Bela to answer it and no doubt charm the worker down from his price. Figuring they were drinking this in the jacuzzi, she heads toward the bathroom to get the water started for them. After seeing the hotel provided a bunch of candles for a romantic sort of ambiance, Raina chooses to take full advantage and light them. ]
I'm all too happy to make this weekend as luxurious as possible.

Which is exactly how it should be. You and I deserve the best.
[ She leaves the bathroom briefly to retrieve two glasses, placing them next to the champagne when she returns. ]
Candles, mhm? Nice touch.

[ Raina smiles. She disappears back into her room long enough to grab one of the bath bombs and a short, violet, silk robe. Dropping the lavender orb into the water causes it to immediately start fizzing and leaving behind the pleasant aroma of jasmine while tinting the waters light purple and leaving behind floating flower petals. Raina appears pleased by the sight before getting undressed without even a hint of shame. ]
So has anything good happened to you after the Russia mess? Meet any good looking people? Get any numbers?
[ Raina climbs into the tub, letting out a sigh of contentment. This is the life. ]

[ Bela leaves the bathroom to leave her clothes in her room, slipping on deep green robe before returning. She takes the robe off, hanging it up on the door frame, picking up the glasses and champagne bottle to bring them over to the tub. Bela slides into the water and closes her eyes for a moment. ]
The water is perfect.

[ She leans back, allowing the jets and bubbles to wash over her for a moment and cradle her skin. ]
So here is to the imPorts who made fools of themselves in front of the president.
[ Raina plucks up one of the champagne glasses, lifting it before bringing it to her lips. ]
I honestly can't believe the stupidity of some of our peers.

[ Bela shrugs, picking up the remaining glass and raises it to Raina. ]
Which is bloody pointless of course. And stupid.
[ Drawing unnecessary attention from the government to them. ]
It won't achieve anything and it makes the rest of us look bad. Some of the natives aren't exactly fans of ours.

[ She lets out a sigh, leaning back against the side of the jacuzzi and allowing the water to simply wash over her -- perhaps it can wash away all of their troubles as well. ]
Oh well. This weekend is meant to be enjoyed. And from this moment until we're boarding the plane, we are going to have the most incredible time. The world is ours for the taking, and we're going to be taking quite a bit from it.
[ With a celebratory smirk, Raina clinks her glass against Bela's and drinks to that. And when the two of them go back home, it will be in far better spirits than the trip had begun. ]
