[While taking on his Remembered form, rest and food become luxuries, rather than necessities, for Manolo. This is probably the longest he's stayed like this, so even he's a bit surprised by all this stamina in his strange skeleton-y body.

Still, he won't begrudge anyone else the need to rest, and he patiently sits just a short distance away from Kaneda, guitar perched in his lap. Idly, he plays a few notes, then pauses to tune a couple of strings. Before he can help himself, he starts to play a gentle melody.

Anyone who's heard him before may notice the distinct lack of ranchera elements in this piece...but that's only because this is an arrangement Manolo himself put together by ear during the Christmas holiday while painstakingly deconstructing, piece by piece, a certain song he'd heard for the first time not long after arriving in Heropa, and translating it into the beautiful language of his guitar. Though the song itself originally came from someone else, Manolo still put a piece of himself into this particular rendition, which comes through in the tender feelings he pours into every note.

Anyone listening may feel the gentle rhythm uncoil any tension in their muscles -- along with a warm reassurance that, no matter what may come, their group can at least take comfort in one another's steady, quiet presence.]
