It's profoundly bizarre and thoroughly fascinating to wander around somewhere so alive and vibrant, when in reality it was mostly a dead, twisted landscape of rubble and desolation. Had he been down this street at some point? Would he even know? Morbid fascination takes hold, making him wonder just how much of this was what it used to be like before.
