[CLOSED] you told me to love you and i did.

WHO: Walter White and Frederick Chilton
WHERE: The basement of Chilton's hospital
WHEN: December 15th; late evening
WHAT: Confrontations
WARNINGS: BrBa spoilers like crazy and violence.

At first, Walt blamed himself for what happened to Jesse. He shouldn't have hit him with the sedative, he should have done something differently. But then he shifted the blame to Jesse. If Jesse had just listened instead of constantly resisting him. But when Walt left the scene of the crime, headed home, and sat in silence on his bed -- he came to realize, neither of them were to blame. This whole thing could have been avoided if it wasn't for the influence of Baltimore.

Walt didn't think he could hate Will Graham any more than he already did, but his emotions toward the pathetic dog of Baltimore had grown absolutely vile. Will, Walt would take his time with. He would kill him slowly. But it was Chilton who plummeted from his coveted position as Walt's only friend. It was Chilton who fell from glory and became the first one Walt wanted to take his anger out on. In the height of his grief and rage, he didn't care about the book. He didn't care about anything other than cutting the real cancer out of his life. The more he thought about this perceived betrayal, the angrier he became.

And so, with his gun tucked in the back of his pants, Walt headed to that side alley entrance into Chilton's basement. He may not have been here in several months, but he certainly didn't forget how to get in. And Chilton's downfall would be the choice to not have cameras stationed outside this entrance. Walt had a bump key with him, using that to unlock the door before he headed inside the very dark stairwell. He pulled out a flashlight, sweeping the area in search of a light switch that he popped on before roaming around, idly observing the renovations done since he had been there last before he headed over to the safe of pharmaceuticals and began to mess around with the dial.

Chilton would find him. Whether he saw the light come on or had a hidden camera tucked away in here -- Chilton would be down there. But when he was, he wouldn't even realize what was coming for him.
